Being home alone for a whole day/night is somewhat of a rarity for me lately just because I usually find myself busy with friends or my other partner when my nesting partner is spending the night with her other partner. Usually I'll make myself something basic for dinner, take a bath, and watch something my partner wouldn't necessarily be interested in. I'd love to spend more time on my hobbies or do something that feels productive like catching up on laundry, but today I just kinda found myself feeling tired and unmotivated. What do you like to do when your nesting partner is away and you don't have other plans?

I don't understand why everyone is so insistent that the CPAP has to be below your head while sleeping... I started with my machine at the same level as my head but I wanted my nightstand back so I set up a shelf maybe two feet above the nightstand so that my machine is higher than my head while I sleep and it's been this way about a month with no issue. I use humidity and a heated tube and have never had any issues with condensation, I even sometimes wash my mask a bit too late in the day so that there's still some water droplets inside by the time I go to sleep and it's been fine. I roll around a fair bit but the tube is long enough and the machine heavy/stable enough that it doesn't seem like I could pull it off the shelf onto my head without waking up and really trying to...
Is the recommendation just a liability thing or an abundance of caution? Am I tempting fate? I like having a usable nightstand with my CPAP just a bit elevated, and I really dont feel like there's a problem here
