Hatchery messed up & is denying it

How do you deal with a hatchery who is intentionally trying to feed you incorrect information to appease you? 3/7 of my gold deathlayers have white barring. 1 has very visible gold barring that doesn’t even resemble the adult pencilling that they grow into. At 3 weeks old, these birds shouldn’t have anything resembling prominent barring on their wings. Not to mention 2 who have white barring also have had visible straight combs since I picked them up. Not cushion combs.

The day I picked them up, I called the hatchery about it and was told that the lines originated from Greenfire Farms. I have heard NOTHING bad about Greenfire Farms so I doubt that they messed up and gave this hatchery mixed birds. When I brought up the clear issue of visible straight combs in day old chicks, I was told “maybe they’ll disappear” and when I further pushed it, acknowledging that comb type doesn’t change like that, I was told “maybe they’re roosters”. Obviously, gold deathlayers are not a breed that has sex specific combs beyond the basic trait of males having a larger one. I’m frustrated with this all, but waiting until my chicks get some more feathers on them before contacting the hatchery again. Hopefully once they feather out, the hatchery will accept that they did mess up.

I got all 4 out this morning and so far I’m not in too much pain, but I’m sure I’ll feel like I’ve been kicked in the face in the next few days. My procedure went smooth & was only 30 minutes from the time I was put under and was brought back to the waiting room. Unfortunately, I’ve already had a stitch (or two, I’m not sure on one) fall out which my surgeon said was fine. Both are on the top so I guess that’s the best case scenario.

My oral surgeon didn’t give much helpful information on care afterwards. I was prescribed a Chlorhexidine mouthwash but not even told what day to start using it. It shocked me when the one sheet of paper they gave said straws were fine after 3 days. I’m horrified of dry socket so I will be avoiding straws for much longer than that. Anyone have helpful advice? The pain is pretty mild so far, but I took naproxen and Tylenol prior to my surgery (due to unrelated pain) and am now on acetaminophen/codeine, amoxicillin, and ibuprofen.

I’m having all 4 wisdom teeth removed on the 7th and am planning on traveling out of state to camp overnight from the 10th-11th. I won’t have any way to warm food but will bring a cooler. What are good things to buy/prep before I leave?

ETA: poor phrasing on my part as I’m not the hardcore outdoorsy type. Camping meant sleeping in a tent at a race track very close to civilization. I’ll have access to multiple cars, clean water and even medical care (if needed) at any given point in time.

I’ve never been on birth control before, but have decided to start it due to ovarian cysts and endometriosis. My gyno said to start it around my period so I don’t have spotting, but I foegot if she said on the first or last day. For anyone else who’s started it for endometriosis, how long did it take you to not feel pain around when you would normally ovulate or have your periods? How long until it’s safe to have sex without a condom?
