I think it’s time to file a class action lawsuit against Uber. The amount of complaints that have been ignored and non existent customer service is insane. Also- the impoverished people who continue to make excuses for a billion dollar corporation that makes its money off of taking advantage of the riders and workers is even more insane.
What are purchases you made that were a game changer for home improvement / maintenance?
I am the only minority teacher at my school. When my team offered to throw me a baby shower, I thanked them profusely but declined. I had been at this school for five years and the staff was professional enough but never friendly to me even though I’m always bubbly, kind and helpful to everyone.
My biggest fear was having a baby shower or party and no one show up. The micro aggressions were becoming too much for me. Fast forward two months later and I was asked to join my team in the media center for what I was told was a last minute meeting. I get in there and everyone yells- “SURPRISE!!!” Most of my grade level teammates were there and they had indeed threw me a baby shower anyway. They said they had been planning it for a while and the whole school was in on it.
After looking around- my worst fears had been realized. Out of a staff of 150 people- there were literally ten people there. For all the planning that they claim went into it- I didn’t see any evidence of it. There were no decorations other than a few balloons and the gift table had two boxes of diapers, a paci set and a few bibs.
I was made to sit in a chair and take pictures holding up the gifts. While I was grateful to get the diapers and the few other offerings, I couldn’t help but feel humiliated. I go over and beyond for everyone and no one showed up for me other than those ten people.
To make matters worse- all showers be it wedding or baby showers have always been very well attended. Standing room only- and for my special moment- crickets. I was so sad and disappointed.
I never wanted to come across as ungrateful because I am hoping my team mates hearts were in the right place but even they looked uncomfortable for me. I just wish they would have honored my wishes to not throw me a shower. I just wanted to vent because it made me so sad.
Rejection hurts and I wear my heart on my sleeve. In spite of how things appeared to be thrown together for me with little effort- I still show up for others and give my personal best and that will never change.
I say this as disrespectfully as possible but f MAGA!!! Now you have regrets??? Oh give me a break!
On Friday, Paramount announced that "Love & Hip Hop" was ending in a press release, while announcing that it would be celebrated with a six-part special to be released later this fall titled "Love & Hip Hop: The Final Chapter."

Are we ready to admit that we should have kept cable instead of paying for 10 different streaming apps? It's gotten so out of hand!! Then there are constant price increases every other week. I'm so sick of it.
