25M looking for a career change and shipping caught my interest. Figured a small fishing venture could be a good place to start and test the waters(?) Wondered if anyone knew of any opportunities to get into the industry and/or get some crucial experience. Sorry if this has been asked before.
Hey guys, im looking to get into the maritime industry(catering to be specific) and all I am lacking is the on-board experience to get me started. Does anyone know of any job or volunteer opportunities/companies in and around the Southampton area related to the maritime industry? Sorry if this has been asked before/against the rules I couldnt find anything in the sub already.
Edit: as stated I have all necessary qualifications (SCTW, food safety etc.) and am simply lacking experience on an actual vessel.
