the title is pretty self explanatory, but i know other disorders (anxiety, adhd…not a disorder but autism) can look like OCD, but i can’t really find anything about people who have been diagnosed with OCD but it was actually something else.

i’ve been waiting for months to get a diagnosis, but now that i have it i just don’t think i have OCD anymore. I know it’s “an OCD thing” to think that, but after the initial research compulsions i did all before and after getting a diagnosis, i just feel like what i thought was OCD has gone quiet. i had a mix of themes like specifically ROCD and SOOCD, but it feels like it’s just gone now. I don’t really do my compulsions anymore and i haven’t been in therapy long enough to help at all. Did i just never have it?
