I managed to pick up this 1903 for $315 sale price, plus some fees. Was in very rough shape with no finish (prior cerokate job, then removed poorly)

So I decided to give it a solid clean up, at home refinish treatment and fed it some beans

As a follow up to my other couple of posts. A few malfunctions out of the 50 round box of .32 ACP. I know these things generally don’t like repro magazines. Not sure of the brand of the magazine it came with, however I do not believe it is original. Either way. Very funny little pistol to shoot, and something I’ve always wanted to get my hands on (even if ideally I was looking for a type III)

Overall, seems functional. Bore condition is TBD after a good cleaning. Definitely appears to have some pitting, but we will see. Going to clean it up, and play around with some bluing. I’d be very satisfied with a worn aged looked over something completely fresh. Either way should be a fun project.

I haven’t taken the 84 out in a while. I believe it to be a magazine problem. Was able to run about half a magazine through afterward. Anyway enjoy the clip that usually doesn’t get posted.
