Extensive brown spots on cactus (south florida)

Hey yall, hoping i can get some insight on how to care for my cactus. I absolutely love this cactus and have had it for about 10-11 years. She survived outside with a massive hurricane and i just completely love her.

I've noticed these extensive and large brown spots on her and was concerned if i needed to change any of her care and recently stumbled on this subreddit. We're in south florida and shes always outside. The water she gets is only when it rains; i never water her because i figured cactus wouldnt need any more. She's in the sun during most of the day. The brown spots are hard and not mushy at all.

Looking at other posts it seems like this is corking and is a natural process given her age. Does this mean shes close to the end of her lifespan? i feel like there should be something i can do for her to grow green?

In addition, shes getting pretty tall and i may have trim her if thats at all possible? how could i go about doing that?

Thanks yall!

Squat form check

Hey yall hoping for a form check for my squats. This was 210lbs which is 90% of my 1RM. Seem to be falling a bit forward on the ascent and not sure if it’s a bracing issue or something else. Thanks!

Hey yall, hoping for some insight into my running shoe rotation. Currently a beginner runner (first 5k i did after 6 weeks of running for the legit first time in my life was 29:11 on 3/1 and recently did another on 4/18 and that was 27:49). I'm planning on doing a 10k june 20, a half marathon oct 17, and a full marathon 1/31/2027.

currently using brooks glycerin 23 for easy and long runs and some evo SL's which i got for 60 bucks for speed sessions/workouts and races. currently running about 15mpw and will be around 19-20 by the time the 10k rolls around.

ive been wanting a some sort of beginner friendly carbon plated shoe that i could ideally use for the 10k and half marathon (by then id have more experience and would figure something out for the full) and just saw on sale the NB SC elite v5s for less than 100. Would these be a good intro to carbon plated shoes?

i think i would mostly use them for race day as well as long runs that have faster paces incorporated in them (which is usually every other week for me). with that kind of use i was hoping theyd last for the 10k as well as the half.

what do you guys think?
