Softee Brazilian Mango Daily Moisture Hair, Body & Scalp Oil

Similar to the other post, Difeel, this Softee brand is about the same in terms of application. I will say, to me, it is a thinner liquid and the application is a bit more interesting and more problematic. Sort of hard to apply to the scalp, so I decanted into a dropper bottle! It's a very thin oil, but is an oil. I put it into an amber bottle so not sure on color, but believe it's a light clear gold/yellow too.

It has a similar scent but not as Rosemary centered. Still smells like it but has a slightly sweeter undertone? I didn't really smell the mango much 🤣 unless I jammed it up my nose and took a deep breath. For those who like a less sharp Rosemary, this would work better. I have used this both on my scalp and body and absolutely love it for my body but didn't use it much as the bottle is pretty small and because before I decanted it, nearly emptied a quarter of the bottle out squeezing into my palm.

I would think this would work better as a fragrance oil than the new fragrance "oils" that came out (I can't think of it at the top of my head, but the ones that are more like a serum with no staying power!). The ingredients are pretty good. I used the Natural Sense spray bottle to also make a similar Rosemary Biotin mix like the Difeel one or the actual Natural Sense spray itself - fill it up nearly to the top with distilled water and add between 2 - 6 drops, shake and apply and it does about the same thing! It can be used nearly daily, though I think I'd use less drops (I put 6 drops in water) in my mix and it's not heavy at all! You'll have to play around with it!

Other than that, I don't mind keeping this on hand especially for the body or scalp! It lasts despite its tiny size. I apply it normally use as is or in the water mix depending what I need -- some days I want a light scalp massage and use the water mix and the day of wash day, I apply the oil directly and massage in. Great to tame down your hair ends a bit with a drop or two and smells delicious! I also enjoyed applying it to my skin after a shower with or without lotion. It's super lightweight for skin compared to many other oils.

Don't mind the dirty bottle, I chucked it in the trash and grabbed it back out to do this review before I'll start cleaning.

Give me your thoughts!

[CG: Review] Smart Care Sport Ultra Sunscreen UVA/UVB Lotion SPF 50

Smart Care Sport Ultra Sunscreen UVA/UVB Lotion SPF 50

I was so excited to find a sunscreen in a not tiny travel bottle. It was some random lone bottle and I snatched it up and giggled in glee as I hauled ass out the store.

Anyways. Yeah. Holy white cast. I like to apply liberally. Do not apply liberally or you'll turn into Casper. The first time I applied it I started freaking out, because the more I rubbed it in, the whiter I got. Computer paper white. Here I am, crab walking trying to move it onto my arms so I could get it elsewhere by rubbing my legs onto my upper body like some demented cricket grasshopper thing. I finally had to grab a hand towel and wipe some off, because I was turning into a ghost - the kind with a WHITE bed sheet.
A few more attempts and I just looked like sunburnt Casper.

The photos don't do justice. If you look at my ugly feet, you can see the comparison more (I may or may not have applied a TINY smear and tried to smear it away to go get a better comparison photo). I mean, the cast wasn't bad if you use just enough, but then you risk not applying enough. I give up most days and just waddle around like a ghost. I even had a few people holler "WHOA. You definitely need sun!" No fool, it's the white cast thankyouverymuch. Oh and you see my palms? Yeah, this shit sinks into your creases and even if you rub it on the grass, a towel, whatever, it doesn't come off. Luckily for me, it does come off easier than I thought with hand soap or body wash. [Edit]

If water touches you, that white cast comes back with a vengeance. You can see the frantic smearing as you try to tone down the cast. Not sure why as I have never paid attention to it, but yeah. You sweat a bit? You accidentally spray yourself with the hose? The cast creeps in and here you are again, glowing white like that Twilight vampire.

Anyways, would I buy this again? At the price point, sure, I need sunscreen and it's expensive. I'll just use it at home where no one will be blinded by it. Would I buy it because I like it? Not really. Why should you buy it? It's cheap! And you get to see what you look like a couple shades, or more than a couple, lighter 🤣😆

It's somewhat a "mineral sunscreen" by the ingredients and it's thick as nearly drying out toothpaste. I mean, it is creamy but not in a good way and you'll be greasy. BTW, I did not use it on my face. 😆 I was tempted, but I did not fall for that intrusive thought.

Give me your thoughts 🤣

Spa Scentials Glow Vitamin C Radiance Face & Body Oil Day Brighten & Tone

They make two kinds of these, one night and one day so I figured I'd try both! I really liked the other because it smelled of lavender and while this one has fragrance, I can't smell anything? Sniffing it, as in shoving my whole snout into the container, I get maybe a hint of lemon? You can't smell it otherwise, it doesn't last, nadda, so if you're looking for fragrance free, this could work! That work for a bad batch. To me, it's scentless (it does state fragrance in the ingredients list).

It looks like the Vitamin C isn't too high on the list so if you're sensitive, it should work for you! Like the other, it's more serum like, not oily at all. I have used it on my face with no issues but tend to use it more on my body due to size. Normally I do (PM and for my body), cleanse in shower, add toner, this serum and then lotion (and petroleum jelly on top if I'm slugging). I just like and enjoy the added step during winter but I think just this during summer and in a humid area, this could work rather than lotion. Does dry a touch tacky, but you're not stupid sticky unless you use too much. I use a dropper full per body part (each arm, legs, ass, chest, back and sometimes one dropper full for both feet and hands together).

I can't say if buy this again as I'd much rather use the retinol night one since it smells nice. It has a serum like texture (is a bit runnier vs. thick AF), clear liquid, comes in a super nice bottle. I don't use it with the retinol one, if that helps. Other than that, it's alright. Hopefully it works better for you!

Feel free to post your thoughts!

Global Beauty Care Calming Nighttime Eye Cream with Lavender, Melatonin & Aloe

I got into an every-part-needs-lovin' kick and figured I need an eye cream for the AM and PM. I figured since this said nighttime, it'd be easy for me to remember.

It's a nice light cream, almost gel like, opaque color, no scent. The container is tiny as heck, which is great if you're using it just for your under eye area, but honestly? Didn't do diddly squat for me. I mean, I have a hard time staying awake during the day and am wide awake at night and was worried any sort of melatonin was gonna take me out, so definitely only used it during the PM. While a tiny bottle, it took me 6+ months of nightly use and when it got to the end (it wouldn't come out anymore), I hacked it in half and started using it for a while nighttime all over face moisturizer (there are a few nights of uses left for your face... Or weeks if you're using it only for your under eye areas). It's light and is great for that and you can put on another layer if you need more moisture. I think it'd be an awesome moisturizer for warmer weather when you don't want to be smothered. Too small an amount for it, but I suppose it'd be a great travel sized facial moisturizer or light hand cream!

Other than that, it's alright. I won't be repurchasing. It helped me start and keep a routine, so that's nice. Oh and the melatonin didn't make me sleepy 🤣 you're better off finding something else.

That's it. 😆 Give me your thoughts!

Dermasil Labs Oatmeal Facial Cleanser with Oatmeal & Snow Mushroom

I just needed a cleanser and grabbed this, mainly because it was a larger size (5 oz.).

While I am glad I didn't have to unscrew the lid (pain with wet hands) and it had a snap lid instead, I prefer to put it in a pump bottle for easier use and because my bathroom runs pretty warm and it tends to squirt out in excess. I will say, it does have a strange scent. To me, it has a slightly earthy, but metallic scent to it. Not bad, just different, though I can see where it can be off putting to others. It is a shimmery (no glitter that I see?) and opaque liquid and isn't super thick; there is a nice liquid and not too thick, nor too thin. I like that the ingredients actually include oat extract and mushroom extract! 😂 IYKYK on some DT products!

I couldn't decide if I wanted to use this in the AM or PM, but only decided for the PM, because I wanted to use a Revive RX cleanser instead! Nonetheless, I did try it out in the AM a few days just to test it out. I do find it cleanses pretty gently and I feel like it doesn't remove everything for me -- I usually slug at night and by my nighttime shower, I am trying to remove 1-2 layers of sunscreen off too! If you don't slug, this'll do and if you're using it to remove more than a single layer of sunscreen or using waterproof sunscreen, you'll have to double cleanse!

It doesn't leave my face with the squeaky overly drying clean and my face does feel hydrated afterwards. As stated, the bottle is a nice size and I try to grab larger bottles of product.

I'll probably keep a bottle of this just because sometimes I try new things without spot testing and breaking out and need the gentle factor 😂 just know that the scent has been a big deterring factor for a lot of people - remember, you wash it off and the scent doesn't seem to linger.

Nonetheless, give us your thoughts!

Difeel Rosemary & Mint Infused with Biotin Premium Hair Oil

I love this stuff! It smells lovely and I have decanted it into a glass serum bottle with a dropper! The only reason why is sometimes I over apply (or under apply) and become greasy, because you're suppose to squeeze it onto your scalp. I have tried another kind (I believe they make 3-4 different kinds) and they have never failed me. I use these twice a week on my scalp, massaging for a few minutes before showering (double shampoo). It is also nice applied to the ends or the lengths with a few drops to add a nice shine and scent to it! It is a golden oil that is pretty runny so easily applied, but definitely an oil. Smells amazing like rosemary with a hint of mint!

Something new I have tried is reusing the Natural Sense Rosemary Biotin bottle, adding distilled water and 4-6 drops of this hair oil and using it; I still am testing it out, you can probably work with less drops. You do have to shake the bottle every use but to me it's pretty similar to where I can use it everyday all over my hair and on my scalp without weighing it down! I'm pretty sure it's nearly the same thing and lasts a lot longer instead of having to grab the Natural Sense one constantly (or not being able to find it!). Even at $1.25, the Natural Sense does not seem to last long, but making your own, means you'll have a huge amount for a long time! This might be in the answer. Both have Rosemary and Biotin!

Other than that, feel free to drop your thoughts on these!

Edit: honestly, if you don't like this for your hair, it'd be a good body oil as well!

Some of these were decanted into bottles I was already using for the product (toner). I will be saving some of the bottles to re-use!

I am sad to say, I have had that Mary Kay spray bottle (toner) for nearly 6 years and the squirter thing finally is trying to give up the ghost 😮‍💨 it has been filled with so many different toners over the years. I feel a little sad it's going away 😅

My favorites this month have been the upper left pink body wash ... If you're a Brazilian Mist (DT) or Sol de Janeiro fan, it's ah-mazing! Actually moisturizing, comes in a huge ass nice pump bottle, foams up beautifully and smells amazing? Also the Jergens lotion - lightly scented but just a touch that was so pleasant! I didn't even want to mixed anything else into it! A weird bottle of super gritty German face scrub - this took me over a year if not nearly year and a half to use and I know scrubs aren't awesome for your face, but I loved it. Only used it once a week, maybe twice and it felt like it polished the crud right off my face. And lastly and my most favorite, the nutmeg and cream lotion 🥹 I didnt even think I'd like nutmeg, but I do love it! I was so sad and began mixing lightly scented lotion trying to make it last. Finally just slathered myself with the last bit of it and basked in the glory of smelling so dang good! All came from the thrift store, new, at a fraction of the cost!

A couple items missing, some candles I stole the jars to craft with!

Compared to last month, I'm not using nearly as much lotion, but it is warming up! I also learned, I hate gummy vitamins 😂 I'd rather swallow pills. Fun month, but finding more half used stuff that hopefully I'll finish in May!

Happy Panning!

Smart Care Baby Wipes

I couldn't help myself. These have the little snap tops and included 100. When I buy these, I grab them based on the opening and the amount! It helps that these have only 6 ingredients and are fragrance free!

Now the crappy part. Sometimes you go to pull out ONE and half a dozen pop out, so you end up trying to shove them back in. At this point, I leave em out to dry and use em for cleaning my nail polish off with acetone. They leave no lint! That or I grab em and spray a few drops of water and wipe. They're decent. The amount makes up for it.

I use these for cleaning myself up or the biggest reason, using em to clean my pups' booties and their little faces and paws! They're also great for a quick face wipe, hand wipe, cleaning around your area after you're done using them and they do a decent job getting rid of non-water proof mascara (I don't wear much makeup if any at all!). Sometimes I use them to wipe my face off for nights I'm too lazy to double cleanse and just finish with one cleanse.

I'll keep grabbing these just for the amount. They had a crap ton for a few weeks and I grabbed half a dozen packages here and there and toss em into everything and everywhere: bathroom, vehicles, my to go bags, everywhere! Sadly, I haven't seen them again since and hoping they show up again someday. It seems like every time I find baby wipes I like, they come out with a new brand.

Your thoughts? Feel free to leave em!

Alberto VO5 Nourishing Leave In Conditioner in Sun Ripened Strawberries & Cream

First is first, I have butt length hair, appears straight, dry AF, probably damaged, but also probably frizzy; I can't dry brush it or it poofs out. I was told by many folks it may be slightly wavy (but the length straightens it out a lot). I think it is fine (I wish it were thick), only due to hair loss 🥲 yay stress! Goal is to grow healthier, then longer length and by using leave in, I can keep it in semi-protective hair styles! Oh, and to grow more of my hair back 🤣

I heard all the craze about this and grabbed some. It is an opaque medium thick-ish cream that is pale pink in color. Nicely scented, definitely something from my youth (some days I love it, some days I realize how long ago that was and am like "ugh!").

I try to wash my hair twice a week as I'm trying to figure out what works best. At first, I wasn't applying enough, later, applying too much which made my hair slightly soggy (think of stale chips or cereal). Someone mentioned on here to keep playing around with it and after awhile, I found the happy medium and it worked! For me, I have applied between wet hair to damp to not quite dry damp, but close enough and it works fine on all - I prefer damp to nearly dry but still damp versus wet (mainly because I'm impatient and if it's too wet, it drizzles with conditioner onto my skin = acne!). I use about a nickel size and start at the ends and work up to just below my ear. It wasn't heavy and kept my hair rather soft and manageable for days. I noticed people had the same issues as me, so my best advice is play around with the amount! I sometimes add a touch of water to make it easier to apply, so for those with fine hair, that may help! The next day, spritz water on and it reactivates the conditioner and serves as a detangler, which is nice (no need for additional product). I will state, I did test it out on dry dry hair to see what it would do... Yeah, don't do that if your hair is already dry like mine, unless you like that feeling. It just leaves hair like mine soggy (like stale chips; gel that dries pliable) though I think it works better if you spritz your hair with water or you have thicker hair and spritz some water with it.

I am currently trying out other hair stuff, but I definitely will be returning to this if I can't find anything else! I feel like, this will do, but I know there has got to be something better! I am thinking I am needing something a touch lighter, but don't mind playing with this to make it work! About the only thing I wish was that it came in different scents. While nostalgic and strawberry is a nice scent, another kind would be nice too! 🤣 It does last quite awhile, but may go quickly while you're playing with the amount. I figured it out right around the 25% almost empty point. Cutting the tube shows there is a butt ton left when you can't reach anymore (I'm so serious), so cut the tube open!

Feel free to post your thoughts!
