Every year, to mark the anniversary of when I rang the bell at the end of my cancer treatment, I put together a care package for my cancer center. This is this year’s basket 💗

I’m still kind of new to the dollar tree beauty game. What are some must have products from here?

My DT is usually not well stocked but today they surprisingly have a lot of products. What are your favorite or must have products from this selection? 💕

I wanna gatekeep but it’s too good!

I struggle with razor burn and ingrowns no matter what I use for shave oil/cream, new razors, expensive products or cheap products, exfoliating before etc etc. I have such sensitive skin especially since having my daughter for some reason?? LET ME TELL YOU I used this after shaving last night on my underarms, external feminine area and legs and…BABY SOFT no razor burn or ingrowns. Im actually shook. This may be a product I go and buy multiples of just to keep backups. I was a little nervous with there being a light fragrance but it didn’t irritate me at all.

Assorted reviews

I have very sensitive combo oily skin that is very red especially on my cheeks and nose. I break out in deep cystic acne pretty regularly and I have full body hyper hidrosis (I sweat a lot)

Also non of these photos are mine I found them online

Collagen cream -

It’s a heavy moisturizer and leaves my face oily about 50% of the time. At first it didn’t seem to be properly moisturizing, but I started using more and not using a fan to dry it and now I sometimes like it. It’s only been about 2-3 weeks of using it but I think it’s already starting to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and tighten the skin on my neck. Might buy again

6.3/10

Swirl lotion -

I meant to get the other one but accidentally got this one and I’m not mad at it. I’m using it on my legs and arms before my lotion and it’s nice. It smells great, a little strong but great. The one thing is it did sting a little on my arms the first time I used it but that might’ve been from over exfoliating earlier. Will buy again and will get the other one as well. 7.2/10

Vanilla body powder -

Smells good but other than that i hate it. It’s grainy, almost rough, and just uncomfortable to put on. Won’t buy again 2/10

Femme soap bar -

It has a very light scent which doesn’t linger after you wash it off which is good, it doesn’t irritate my skin at all, and It didn’t throw off my PH or cause any other issues. Would buy again 7.6/10

HA body scrub -

HOLY GRAIL!!! It has a light scent that doesn’t linger, did a great job exfoliating, and it made me feel nice and soft. It didn’t cause any irritation or discomfort. Will definitely buy again 9.6/10

Vanilla pre shave scrub -

Disappointing. I expected it to be like the other scrub but it wasn’t. It barely did any exfoliating and caused mild irritation, it devolves almost instantly. I wasn’t even still in the shower, I was a little wet but not near enough for it to dissolve like that. Won’t buy again 2/10

Intimate shave cream -

I wanted to love it and I’m kinda disappointed. The smell is kinda off idk how to explain it but it’s just weird and it stung a little while it was on my skin. I used it on the my upper mons pubis and got a few strokes with the razor before I had to wash it off and I must say It does work well. I got a nice close shave and if it didn’t irritate my skin I would get again. *Edit to add* I started using it to shave my legs, arms, and pits and I really like it but only for less sensitive area. Would buy again 7/10

Coconut body oil -

Not great, not bad, very mid. Smells good and leaves a nice shine on my skin. It does make me sweat like crazy but so do most oily skin products so I won’t count that against it. I’ve been mixing it with whatever lotion I’m using and it adds a shine I like. One thing is it leaves me sticky which would be a problem if I had anything to do afterward. Probably won’t buy again cause it’s very unimpressive 5/10

Dial soap bar -

I like it. It makes me all squeaky clean and definitely helps remove any odor. I’ve been using it on my armpits, my groin, and my feet, then going in with a more fragrant/moisturizing soap on my whole body. Will buy again 7.7/10

Repair foot cream -

Not great, but not bad. It is moisturizing but not nearly as much as I would expect for something that says “repair” on it and is meant for feet. I did only use it for 2 nights before I switched to the “dry heal balm” so maybe it’s something that takes more time to see an improvement but I doubt it. Won’t buy again 4.6/10

Revive Rx toner pads -

I like these. I initially used them only on my face but I started using them on my chest, pits, and under my boobs. It’s nicely saturated with product, does a good job toning, the one thing is it can be very drying if you use it too often and it does have a light scent but nothing to overwhelming. It sometimes stings tf out of my eyes even though I don’t use it anywhere near them. I also got the other ones (white ones) and the only difference I can find is the black ones are a little more saturated with product than the others and maybe a little less drying but that could just be me. Would get again 6.8/10

Which hazel solution -

I really like it. It’s definitely more diluted than the ones from other stores but i kinda like that because of how sensitive my skin is. I’ve been using it after I shave and I think it has made a difference in the amount/severity of razor bumps. It doesn’t sting at all which is definitely a plus and I put a spray top on it to make it easier to apply. Ive already bought 2 more and will buy again 8/10

Eczema lotion -

I like it, but it’s not quite as moisturizing as I would like if I were going to use it as my primary body lotion. I’ve really only been using it on patches of rough, red, blotchy skin; primarily on my chest, and also on my mons pubis after I shave and tone. It’s improved the appearance of the spots and kept me moisturized. It hasn’t caused any irritation and has a very minimal, yet pleasant smell. Would buy again. 7.7/10

After shave serum-

I’m really not a fan. It has a very strong smell, it irritated my skin, and it isn’t really moisturizing. I did only use it that one time so maybe I should give it another shot but I definitely Won’t buy again 1/10

EOS dupe shave cream -

It smells good and didn’t cause any irritation but beyond that it’s useless. I literally couldn’t shave with it, I thought my razor was broken because literally no hair was coming off until I switched to my regular shave cream. It was really weird. I did only use it that one time so maybe it was a fluke or user error or something but I won’t buy again. 3/10

Hydrating lip serum -

I like it. It’s not as thick as the OG and smells sweet like a fruity almost bubblegum scent, it’s a little strong but not terribly so, it’s hydrating and seemed to soothe some of the irritation on my lips. Would but again 6.4/10

Perfect hydration lip gloss -

Not a fan. Its smell, although good is unbelievably overwhelming, like my eyes were watering from the fumes. Won’t buy again 1/10

Oatmeal restore serum (amended review) -

I initially hated it, it made my skin disgustingly oily but recently my skin has been less on the oily side so I tried it again and I really like it. It definitely helps soothe any irritation, it’s not super hydrating but that’s ok cause I add a collagen & peptides serum over it and then it’s fine. Would buy again 7.8/10

Little tykes baby wipes -

I like them. I couldn’t find the other ones (hydropure fragrance free) from the same brand so I thought I might as well try these. They have alright amount of moisture in them, and a decent thickness. They do have some scent but not much and they are really gentle (no irritation). I use them everywhere and have had no problems so far. The one thing is they occasionally leave a slightly sticky residue on my skin but it does go away pretty fast. Would buy again 7.8/10

Bath cloths -

Meh. It’s smells alright but the scent lasts forever which is kinda annoying. They didn’t cause any irritation but I only used them on areas that aren’t as sensitive so I can’t say if they are ok for the whole body. The wipes themselves are a decent size but not as big or moist as I thought they would be. I used them to freshen up when I was all sweaty and they did an alright job removing odor, they didn’t leave a particularly noticeable residue which is good but I still wouldn’t buy again. 5/10

Purple Hand Sanitizer 💜

My keychain is finally complete now that I found the moonlight orchid hand sanitizer 💜 It was the very last one. I hope I can find a case too

Assorted reviews pt2

I have very sensitive combo oily skin that is very red especially on my cheeks and nose. I’m on the younger side and I break out in deep cystic acne pretty regularly and I have full body hyper hidrosis (I sweat a lot)

None of the pics are mine I found them online

A&H essentials deodorant wipes -

I like them. They are really moist, have an alright size, and a good thickness. I’m not a huge fan of the scent, it’s a little more cologne like but not so much so and it last a pretty long time. They do a pretty good job removing odor but they do temporarily leave a slight residue but it does eventually go away completely. I used them on my pits, groin area (only the skin by the legs not on the vulva), under my boobs, and on my feet. They didn’t cause any irritation which is good but the smells sometimes gives me a headache so I probably won’t buy again (might try the other scent). 7.1/10

psoriasis cream -

HOLY GRAIL!! I don’t have psoriasis but I had some really rough spots of skin on my fingers and it completely got rid of them. I also put it on my feet under the dry heal balm and they have never been so soft. It did burn for a few seconds right when I put it on but apparently that’s normal and it went away almost instantly. Will definitely buy again 9.7/10

Olay dupe eye serum -

I like it. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and I can definitely see an improvement in eye bags and dark circles. It took me an embarrassingly long time before I fingered out how to apply it without it eventually stinging my eyes but I finally did it. I keep it at least ½ inch away from my eye and only put it on the bottom and the very top of my eyebrow area. If it’s touching anywhere near the lashes then it will eventually make its way into your eye. Maybe this is common knowledge but I figured I’d mention it. The only thing I don’t like is the glitter, it’s not particularly noticeable on the face but it pisses me off anyway. Might buy again 6.9/10

smooth body oil

I don’t know what to think of this. I’ve only used it on my body, but It has a mild scent that’s hard to describe but not bad. It’s not really moisturizing and I haven’t seen any real improvement from the retinol. I’m gunna finish it just because I don’t want to waste it but won’t buy again 3.7/10

Jet-set-reset eye serum -

It’s a little too strong for me to comfortably use so I can’t say how it would improve eye appearance with more frequent use but here’s what I did notice. Its pretty drying and the gives off some kind of fume that makes my eyes red and painful for multiple hours after each use. I only tried it a few times before I gave up and tossed it but I wouldn’t buy again. 3/10

Jet-set-reset hydro mist -

I really like it. It’s moisturizing enough that i can use it after a mid day tone with a light face toner and not have to add additional products. I cover my eyes with eye mask whenever I use a spray product on my face so I can’t say if it irritates my eyes. The one thing is i hate the sprayer, it leaves big uneven drops that I have to use my hands to rub in but other than that it’s great. Will buy again 8.7/10

Marie Clare setting powder -

Hate it. I didn’t even use it because the scent is so unbelievably strong. Made my eyes water just opening it and gave me a migraine. Won’t buy again 1/10

10% AHA smoothing lotion -

I like it. It has a long lasting light scent that’s not bad but also not great. It absorbs quickly and leaves me pretty moisturized. I haven’t been using it very long but I think it’s made a difference in skin texture and overall appearance. Already bought 2 more and would buy again 8.4/10

Extreme renewal cream -

I like it. It absorbs pretty fast and leaves my skin nice and soft. It doesn’t have a particularly strong smell and has a nice almost gel like texture. Would buy again 7.8/10

Collagen & Peptides serum -

I really like it. I’ve been layering this over the oatmeal restore serum and it’s definitely made my skin look less saggy and improved the beginning of wrinkles. It hasn’t caused any irritation and as long as I don’t use a heavy moisturizer after, it doesn’t leave me oily. Would buy again 8.4/10

Hydrating double serum -

Not a fan. I’ve only used it a few times so I might be judging it so soon but I don’t wanna use it again. It leaves a weird sticky residue, makes me oily asf, and it made me breakout really bad. Won’t buy again 3/10

eye mask

Not really skincare but I use it during my routine so I’m adding it. I use it to cover my eyes when I’m spraying anything on my face, it’s a little big so I fold it in half that way it doesn’t cover my forehead and it works good for keeping product away from my eyes. Would buy again 7/10

Lost the war and the battle lol

I come in for one thing and end up spending 45$ 😮‍💨

Anyway the HighLights***

* Sanitizers: Moonlit Orchid smells exactly like SDJ 59. And I love it to much i wish I got two 😩 but I got the Plum one instead

* Perfume: Tropical Coconut smells so amazing. Lovely coconut smells and it smells like Bath and Body Works Coconut Nectar.. I lived the hell out of that

* Hair: Hair Milk - Leave In: This smells so damn good!! Im glad i got it! Has a sweet bubble gummy smell...small hint of cotton candy.. I love it for my hair.

Also got the Pacific nights perfume.. smells godly

Lotion: I got the fresh and cozy we all know its supposed to be an Eos Fresh and cozy dupe. It smells okay but it has slight greasy stickiness to it.. so I paired it with the Thousand Wishes lotion.. and together they smell 👏 amazing

Amber Glow : I got the amber perfume stick.. smells good as hell, the coconut wipes are to die for. I want to go back and get back ups, I got the CocoRose lotion bc it has a decent Rose scent that I feel would pair well with Cover In Roses BBW

I also got a shit ton of other stuff ( Jasmine feminine spray ect)

Dollar Tree got me in a choke Hold 😩😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨👏

What's the best hydrating cleanser(s) in your opinion and what's your skin type?

I'll go first:

I haven't used many products that haven't dried my skin out one way or another so far. I'm looking for something that will hydrate but not make my t zone look greasy.

  • GBC - rice water foaming cleanser - Gentle. does the job for the most part. Dryness around my mouth still occurs. Love the very light scent it has.
  • Dermasil jelly melon cleanser - never again
  • MorningFresh facial scrub (Clean&Clear morning Burst dupe) - I liked it at first, but over time it hasn't done me right. Citrus smells is what draws me to it tho.
  • GBC - blemish control pore clearing scrub - Papaya! Overall it works fine paired with GBC blemish control moisturizer/cooling gel
  • GBC - pore purifying & exfoliating cleansing balm - no scent and dries my face out the least out of all products listed above. And I'm almost out!

Skin type: Sensitive. Combination oily/dry. Very oily t zone with dryness everywhere else and acne prone.

You have $10 to spend on makeup/beauty... what do you buy?

I'm heading to DT this morning to look at beauty products for the first time. I think I want to try some makeup or skincare products. I'm limiting myself to $10. What are your top recommendations? Thanks!!!

Brazilian Sol body butter smells great, but it's more like a gel. I don't mind, but it's unexpected.

I used it for the 1st time tonight. I use a generic 12% Amlactin lotion that smells faintly like plain sour yogurt. I don't mind the yogurt scent because it works great. The sour scent doesn't last for more than maybe 5-10 minutes. Dr. Dray on YT said it helps with crepey skin. I lost some weight, and my arm and leg skin looks a little looser than I'd like. I just started using it maybe 2 weeks ago, so the jury is still out on if it helps me with crepey skin. My skin is so soft and feels healthier than ever.

I use the Brazilian Sol after my lotion has soaked in really well. I got it for the scent. The body butter looks and feels like thick and watery gel cream. I don't mind, but it would be easier to use if it was in a bottle. It smells great and lasts a while on me. I like that it's not overwhelming me with a strong scent. I don't know if it's moisturizing on its own without being on top of my lotion. I'll have to try the body butter in the morning to see if it works okay as a moisturizer by itself.

Lots of new product reviews + first impressions!

Hey y’all, it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these and I’ve tried so many new products in the last month, I just had to share my thoughts! Fair warning, this is going to be very long!

To start, I’m 40 with normal skin that leans dry, I’m not really treating any serious issues with my skin, I basically just want to be hydrated and look good. About 1 month ago I stopped all skincare except for facial cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen and few select products because I’m working on healing my skin barrier. My hair is also normal, leaning dry, wavy on the bottom but straight on top. I shower nightly, do my skincare routine 2x a day and wash my hair 3x a week.

Every review will be clockwise in the order of the products pictured to make things more simple. These reviews + first impressions are all of products I’ve used at least once in the last month but most I used more often.

Picture 1- Body Care Basics ✨

Xtra Care Dry Spray antiperspirant w/ cooling essence- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Y’all this stuff is legit! When using this I literally do not sweat! I’ve used it on my armpits, my thighs and under my breasts and it works! Zero sweat, zero smell or body odor even when I’m anxious, and it lasts all day. It dries down very quickly too, I spray it and it’s dry within 30 seconds. I love this stuff especially now that it’s warming up where I live and I’ve been taking long walks around my neighborhood. My son has also used this in gym and says it works well for him too. The only downside? I hate the scent. It’s very chemical-y and unpleasant and that’s the only reason this stuff doesn’t get a full 5 stars. However, I’m still using it daily, and the smell disappears once it dries. Do not sleep on this one, no lie, I used this today and walked to my kids school and back to pick them up, in 80° weather, and did not sweat at all! Highly recommend this one!

Power Stick aluminum free deodorant Champagne Glow scent- ⭐️⭐️⭐️ This deodorant is very decent. It works pretty well, I still sweat a little but not badly, I typically use this on days I know I won’t be sweating too much. The scent is great, it has a very sharp citrusy scent. It doesn’t smell like Champagne Toast from B&BW even though I’m pretty sure it’s a dupe, but it’s similar. I like this as a regular deodorant, the only downside is the scent. It’s very heavily scented and after I use it I smell it every time I lift my arms. I recommend this one, but only if you’re ok with smelling it all day long.

Care All Creamy Cocoa Butter petroleum jelly- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This lotion is a new favorite for me, I’ve been using it on my feet to keep them soft and hydrated and it works so well! It has definitely softened my feet and they look a lot better! It’s super thick and creamy but still absorbs really fast! The best part of this lotion is that it doesn’t smell like petroleum jelly at all! I had previously used the Vaseline brand of a lotion similar to this one and it was amazing except.. it smelled like vaseline and I just couldn’t deal. This one is perfect, the tube is a pretty good size for $1.25, I’ve been using it on my feet nightly for 2 weeks or so and I haven’t run out yet. Highly recommend this if you need a really thick, moisturizing lotion, I personally think it would be great on eczema!

Xtra Care Body Scrub Bump Eraser 10% AHA- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Oh my gosh, y’all why did I wait so long to try this?! It is amazing! It’s by far the best scrub I’ve found at Dollar Tree and I’ve tried a lot of them, I’d even go so far as to say it’s the best scrub I’ve used period. I used it on my legs last night before shaving and my skin felt so soft and smooth, I felt very hydrated even before shaving and applying lotion! This scrub is very, very scrubby!! I’ve tired so many Dollar Tree scrubs and my main complaint has always been “not scrubby enough” but this one is perfect, very gritty! Im not kidding y’all, this stuff is amazing. I liked it so much after shaving I used it on my whole body. It’s so good, the hype is real. In fact, I’d say it deserves more hype! The scent is also nice, it has a very gentle, clean scent. 10/10 highly recommend, I wish I’d grabbed more of these because I found them at the DT 2 hours away from my town.

Xtra Care Extreme Renewal Cream- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So, I’m pretty sure this is a dupe of First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream, I’ve used both and they are very similar, I was actually surprised! Just before buying this I had finished my tub of FAB cream and was not expecting to love the DT version but I do! The Dollar Tree cream is a little thinner in texture, but other than that I don’t see many differences. However, please note I haven’t compared the ingredients so I can’t say whether they’re the same in that regard. I highly recommend this stuff, I’ve used it all over my body and on my face and it’s such a great basic moisturizer! It absorbs fast and has no scent at all. I will definitely repurchase this when I run out!

B Pure Lip Balm caramel scented- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ These quickly became a favorite for me, I’m so glad I stocked up! My favorite part of this lip balm is the tiny container it’s in, it’s adorable! It has a very thick texture, once I start applying it it sort of melts into my lips, which I really like! It also lasts all night, it’s not sticky and it stays in place. I’ve been using this nightly for a few weeks, I slather it on before sleep and when I wake up my lips are very moisturized! I’ve also given one of these to each of my kids, they tend to get chapped lips and these are great to keep in their backpack! Highly recommend these! Also, you really can’t beat the value since you get 2 for $1.25!

Spa Luxury Brazilian Sol hand cream, pistachio and caramel scent- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m obsessed with this scent so I’m probably biased but I really love this hand cream! It smells great and most importantly it absorbs quickly and it’s not sticky! Every night right before bed I use this and my hands have never been softer! I’m almost out of this tube and really hoping my store restocks! I do wish it was a teensy bit thicker, that’s the only reason I gave it 4 stars, otherwise it’s such a great hand cream! It would also be great to keep in your car! I’ve been keeping one on my nightstand and one on my coffee table.

Assured 4 Blade Razor- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I used to be a diehard Venus user but these razors have changed my mind. Every time I go to DT I grab 2 or 3 because I never want to run out! These razors last a while, 10 days to 2 weeks I’d say, and I shave probably 3 times a week, just make sure you replace the cover otherwise they’ll rust. These are a great basic and I highly recommend them, especially if you get razor burn, I haven’t had an issue since I switched to these razors + started doing proper prep before shaving! They don’t pull or tug at my skin when shaving and I get a very close shave!

Real Oatmeal Essence Mask- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of my top 5 favorite sheet masks from Dollar Tree, I love these so much I keep 3 or 4 in my bathroom at all times. They have almost no smell which is perfect for me. They’re extremely gentle and soothing which is great because I’m working on healing my skin barrier and haven’t been using anything harsh on my face. Every time I use one of these masks my skin ends up feeling so soft and smooth, sometimes I do a mask twice in a week! Highly recommend these, they’re great!

Picture 2- Hair Stuff ✨

Pro Silk Salon purple shampoo- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have to say I was surprised to find this at Dollar Tree, mainly because the purple shampoo I had been using was $11. Now, I can’t say this one works as well as the more expensive brands I’ve tried but it definitely works. This purple shampoo is a bit thinner and is almost translucent, other purple shampoos I’ve tried were more opaque, so that’s the only difference I’ve noticed. However, it brightens my gray hair and keeps it really silvery and pretty, I’ve been using it about once a week and I make sure to let it sit in my hair for about 5-10 minutes. The scent is nice and clean and my hair really feels clean after using this! I definitely recommend if you have gray or white hair, I assume it would also work for blonde hair as well! I’ll definitely repurchase this, it’s great to have on hand!

V05 Glossy Hair Serum- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have to admit, I was skeptical of this one, it feels like hair gel at first and I was almost positive it was going to make my hair clumpy and sticky.. until it didn’t. It definitely lives up to its name and makes my hair more glossy and shiny. I’ve been using it on my youngest daughter’s hair regularly since she has thin, fine hair that can look a little dull sometimes and it works like a charm! It also smells like Christmas, really! It’s very gingerbready and cinnamon-y although the scent doesn’t stick around after it dries. It makes a great finishing product after styling your hair, I’ve used it after straightening my waves with my heated brush. Definitely recommend this one!

White Rain Volumizing Shampoo + Conditioner- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I love my V05 shampoo and conditioner but this is definitely my new favorite. It smells good, kind of coconutty, and it works really well! I wouldn’t say it’s a miracle product but my hair always feels clean and hydrated and it looks great after it dries too! I definitely recommend these and I’ll absolutely repurchase!

Power Stick Leave In Conditioner Brazilian Mist- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ok, I know I already said I’m obsessed with this scent, and I am, so I might be a bit biased, but I really love this leave in conditioner! Now, it’s not as good as some of the others I’ve used but the scent makes up for it for me. I’ve used it on wet and dry hair and it works well either way although I’d say it’s better on wet hair. It also doesn’t build up or make my hair sticky! The main downside is the sprayer nozzle. It comes out in a stream, not a nice misty cloud, and that really bugs me so that’s why it only gets 4 stars. It would be 100 times better in a different bottle and I’ll probably swap it over eventually but I just haven’t yet. Definitely recommend this one though, it’s still worth it especially if you love the scent!

V05 Haircare Miracle Leave In 10 Shine Spray- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This product is a new favorite for me! I’ve already gone through 1 bottle of it and have 2 extras waiting because I don’t want to run out. It’s very comparable to the It’s a 10 leave in spray, maybe it’s not the exact same but it feels similar to me. I think it smells great as well but be warned it’s pretty heavily scented. I’ve been using it on myself and my kids in the mornings to refresh their hair and smooth any cowlicks. For myself I’ve used it on wet and dry hair and prefer it on dry, it makes a great last step after styling as well!

Personal Care 3 in 1 Leave In- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve reviewed this one before but it’s been a while so I’ll go over it again! I love this leave in, I guess I’m kind of collecting all the leave in conditioners I possibly can and this one is probably my favorite! It smells really good, beachy and coconutty and it doesn’t build up in my hair, no matter how much I use. I highly recommend this one, I’ve already used up 2 bottles on myself and my kids!

B Pure Prickly Pear Pre-Wash Glossing Treatment- ⭐️⭐️ I’ve waited to review this because I’m honestly still on the fence. I’ve used it on my hair twice and my daughters hair once so these are my honest thoughts. It smells really good, like it has a very pleasant, sweet scent, but it’s also packed full of glitter. I had glitter on my hands for days, but oddly didn’t see much in my hair? As to whether it works or not, I honestly can’t say. My hair was shiny after I used it but it’s pretty shiny anyways and I used other products in addition to this. Would I use it again? Probably not, but I don’t dislike it. All in all I’d say skip this one.

B Pure Prickly Pear Moisturizing Hair Mask- ⭐️⭐️⭐️ This mask is really decent in my opinion. I liked it when I used it, but the package is so small I used it all in one go. It hydrated my hair really well, I liked the way my hair looked afterwards, but I probably wouldn’t purchase again just because it’s so small. I also wasn’t a fan of the scent, it was different from the other prickly pear products I’ve used, it kind of smelled like dirt, it was weird. All in all it’s an ok product but I’d stick to the Spa Luxury hair masks simply because they smell incredible and there’s so much in the package.

Spa Luxury Shea Butter and Coconut Hair Mask- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This hair mask is a holy grail for me, specifically this one in the purple tub. I’ve used it for months and gone through probably 6 of these and I keep them stocked. I use these once a week, slather it in my hair, it takes about half the tub, then leave my hair in a messy bun til it’s shower time. My hair is always noticeably softer, smoother, and has less tangles, even soaking wet in the shower. I really can’t say enough good things about this one, definitely try it if you haven’t already! I’ve also used it this on all of my kids and it works on all their hair types!

Miscellaneous hair accessories + hairbrush- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ These reviews will probably be specific to folks with long and/or thick hair, so take what I say with a grain of salt. The scrunchies I mostly use to hold my hair back when I do my skincare and I like them a lot! Most importantly they don’t leave a bump in my hair when I take it down! The claw clips are amazing! If you have long and thick hair you know the struggle! I use these to either hold up a messy bun when I do my hair mask, or I do a twist and clip it up to make it look nice. These hold my hair no matter how long I keep them in, they’re very strong and so far have held up well! Highly recommend these if you have long hair, especially for $1.25! The hairbrush is also great, it’s nothing super special, I mean, it brushes my hair and is easy to clean so I have nothing negative to say about it. I really like the hooked end of the handle too, I keep this brush on my nightstand next to a basket with my lotions and stuff and I like that I can hang the brush from the handle! Definitely recommend all of these!

Picture 3- Non Basic Body Care ✨

Spa Luxury Vanilla Sugar Scented body lotion- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is one of my favorite basic lotions when I don’t know what scent I want to use. It smells really good and the scent lasts a while, not 24 hours but if I apply in the morning I still smell it, albeit faintly, in the afternoon. The lotion is really moisturizing and absorbs fast as well. I don’t have anything negative to say about this one. It’s also great for layering, I sometimes use it under my B&BW body mists or my favorite perfumes! I actually wish this scent it came in a body mist! I will definitely repurchase this one!!

Spa Luxury Love Struck body lotion- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Another favorite, I’m pretty biased because I’ve loved Love Spell by Victoria’s Secret for like 25 years. I love the body scrub, body wash and lotion, and I love to use all 3 when I shower at night. The scent seems to last a decent amount of time as well, I typically reapply in the morning or afternoon. The lotion is also great, it’s probably not the most moisturizing but it’s still really good!

Spa Luxury Cabana Kiwi body lotion- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Also love this lotion, once again I have nothing negative to say. The scent is great, not too fruity but very pleasant. It’s very summery, beachy and really makes me miss living near the beach! This scent seems to last longer than the Love Spell lotion for sure, especially when I use all the products together. Definitely recommend this one and I would probably buy it again.

Spa Luxury Cabana Kiwi Body Wash + Scrub- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m reviewing these together just so I don’t have to repeat myself. Same as above, lovely summer scent and both of these are really nice products. The scrub is awesome, after I use it I always feel so soft and smooth, almost like I don’t even need lotion! The body wash is also great and the scent is so nice, not overwhelming at all! Highly recommend these and really all the summer scents!

Happy Skin, Healthy Skin Coconut Pop Poppin’ Face and Body Elixir coconut and lime scent- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This one is so fun, I love the colored bubbles in it and I love mixing them together, it’s very satisfying! The scent is a little artificial but in all honesty, I don’t care. Most of the scents I use are artificial anyway. This one smells very candy like! It’s a little sticky when you first apply it but after it dries down it feels very soft! I’ve also noticed my kids really like this brand, the colors are fun and they like the bubbles too! Definitely recommend these, especially if your kids are like mine and need lotion but don’t want to use it! I haven’t used this on my face however, I just don’t trust it, I’ll stick to my regular skincare there!

Spa Luxury Brazilian Sol body butter- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So, I’ve actually reviewed this one before but since it’s back in my store I figured I’d review it again. This body butter is a ride or die, number 1 favorite for me. It’s the GOAT, as the kids say! The scent is incredible, I’m obsessed with this pistachio caramel scent, I’ve bought every similarly scented product I can get my hands on! I love doing my whole shower routine and layering all my products with this scent! It absorbs quickly, it makes me feel very soft, I literally just can’t say enough good things about it! Highly recommend it, you might want to grab extras. I keep about 3 or 4 extras in my closet, but don’t worry, I’d never clear the whole shelf!

Power Stick Brazilian Mist shave oil- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Another favorite for me, obviously because of the scent, but I also genuinely love this product. Instead of shaving with it I’ve actually been using it as a body oil and layering it under the Brazilian Sol body butter, ever since I ran out of my beloved perfume oil with the same scent. It’s very hydrating and I love how it smells on my skin! Definitely recommend this, whether you shave with it or use it like I do!

Power Stick Brazilian Mist Body + Hair Spray- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unfortunately this spray only gets 4 stars because, while I love the scent and the product is good, the scent doesn’t last. I have sprayed my clothing before wearing AND my body and it will not stick to me for longer than a few hours. Maybe I’m asking too much for a $1 product? I don’t know, I just wish the scent lasted longer because everything else about this spray is lovely! I was hesitant to use it in my hair but it doesn’t make it sticky or build up! I recommend this if you’re ok with reapplying it, even with my issues I’ll still repurchase it.

GBC Rose Quartz Body Milk- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So, I have to be honest, I only bought this because my daughter and I recently watched the show Steven Universe, and I loved the name of it. In reality it’s a really great product and even though I’m not usually a fan of florals it smells great! It’s definitely a pleasant, gentle, clean rose scent, not an overwhelming grandma-y floral. It makes me feel pretty hydrated but if you’re really dry you might want something more moisturizing! This one is really fun and I would definitely buy it again!

GBC Jade Shimmering Body Glaze jasmine scent- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Really love this one, it’s such a nice body lotion! I’ve been layering it with the Rose Quartz body milk because the scents work to nicely together and they seem to last longer that way! The jasmine scent is really nice, it’s a very clean scent, almost like a soap or laundry detergent. The shimmer part is nice too, at first I thought it was going to be like the body glitter I used to wear in the early 00’s but it’s not! It is glittery but once you rub it in it’s not super noticeable. I really like applying it to my arms, shoulders, back and chest. It’s really going to be fun to use during the summer when I finally break out my tank tops! My daughters also love this one, they’ve been wearing it on their cheeks and arms to school, no irritation or breakouts! Definitely recommend this one if you’re ok with the glitter!

GBC Amethyst Shimmering Body Oil lavender scent- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This one is a lot like the jade body glaze but more glitter! I haven’t worn this one out yet but my older daughter has and she loves it! It smells really good and she says it’s hydrating but not very, she layers it with the rose quartz body milk or the jade glaze in the mornings before school. Definitely recommend this one for summer, it would be so pretty all over at the beach or the pool! The scent is also great, surprisingly! It’s another very clean scent, not overwhelming even if you layer it!

Picture 4- Skin Care ✨

Full disclosure- I haven’t been using any serums lately, I actually haven’t been using anything harsh at all. I’m focusing on healing my skin barrier so I’ve been sticking to a facial cleanser, hydrating toner, eye cream and moisturizer with the occasional sheet mask as long as it hydrating.

GBC Smooth + Lift Collagen Skin Cream- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great basic moisturizer! I’ve never had any irritation from this one, no break out or flare up at all. It has a very clean, gentle, pleasant scent. I’d say I used this pretty consistently until I found my new favorite moisturizers but it still holds up. I’ve also let my kids try this they’ve not had any issues. Definitely recommend this if you want a really good gentle, basic moisturizer. I probably wouldn’t buy this again but only because I’ve found new favorites, not because there’s anything wrong with this one.

B Pure Smoothing Retinol Night Eye Cream- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been using this eye cream consistently for about a month now, I’m almost out of it actually and already have a backup. This stuff is so good! No scent, no irritation or flare ups at all and I think it’s made a small difference under my eyes. They look smoother and more plump without being baggy. I have a few very fine lines and wrinkles and I think they may have smoothed out a little but I didn’t take a before picture so I don’t want to say for sure! Either way I highly recommend this eye cream, it’s the best one I’ve tried from DT!

ProGenix Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin C Overnight Hydrating Cream- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is one my new moisturizers and I’m really liking it so far, I’ve been using it for a couple weeks and it’s definitely very hydrating. Downside- I want to say it’s the tiniest bit greasy but the edges of my nose get greasy sometimes anyway so that could just be me. There’s no scent and I’ve been applying it almost every night and I’m very happy with it, I wake up to my face being soft and smooth and I swear my face looks it’s best in the mornings after I’ve slathered on my skincare! Really recommend this one especially if you’re on the drier side! I would definitely buy this again as well.

Orchid Moisturizing Cream- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This stuff is amazing y’all, I’m in love! I searched for weeks for this moisturizer and legitimately think I let out a little scream in the store when I found it! It’s extremely thick, like vaseline thick, but it melts into my skin very quickly and a little goes a long way. It’s very easy to put on too much of this stuff, I start with about a dime sized amount and see how far it spreads before adding more! All in all I adore this moisturizer, it would be amazing if you have super dry skin, I’d even recommend applying it all over your body. I’ve been alternating this and the ProGenix moisturizer at night and I think I might like this one more. It’s unscented and has been extremely gentle and soothing for me. Highly, highly recommend this one! I would 100% buy this again, in fact I’ve already got 2 extra tubs of it. However I have to say, if you’re oily this probably isn’t the one for you!

Happy Skin Healthy Skin Glow Up Cloud Cleanser- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is another new favorite of mine, I’ve used it for a couple weeks on and off. First of all, it is scented but I don’t mind the scent, although if you’re committed to unscented products obviously you’ll want to skip this one. I really love the little scrubby arm on the bottle, I feel like it really cleans my face really well. The scrubby arm doesn’t exfoliate, it just cleans really well and I like not having to use a washcloth or my hands because feeling water drip down my arms is the literal worst! It usually takes me 2-3 pumps to do my whole face and it can get a little messy if you just pump the cleanser out all willy nilly, but overall I still think it’s more tidy than using my hands. Highly recommend this one, it’s fun and really makes me feel like my face is clean. My kids have also tried this, had no issues and they love it too!

Dermasil Oatmeal Milk Toner- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been using this toner for 6+ months and while I have reviewed it before I wanted to update my review. I still adore this toner, it’s one of only 2 toners I’m using on my face right now. It’s so gentle and very soothing. I’ve also used it on my daughter’s eczema and it’s been great at calming her skin as well. I have nothing bad to say about this one, highly recommend it and you’re definitely going to want to keep a few extras on hand. I keep extra in case I need one for my daughter’s bath water to soothe her eczema.

Orchid Gentle Face Cleanser- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is another GOAT y’all, it became my favorite cleanser literally the first time I used it, it knocked the Cloud Cleanser out of first place! It’s really hard to put into words how awesome this stuff is but I’ll try. First of all, it’s unscented. Now I’ll be honest, unscented products aren’t super important to me but I do lean towards unscented versus scented. Using this facial cleanser, it really feels like a high end product. It’s very silky, it lathers up just enough that I feel like it’s working but not so much I worry about it getting in my eyes or nose. If I didn’t know any better I would not believe it costs $1.25. It just feels luxurious. I’ve used lots of different cleansers, like up in the $80 range and this one is up there in terms of quality. I have to say though I’m basing all of this solely on how it feels while using it and the way it makes my skin feel, not the ingredients. I honestly don’t really check ingredients, I don’t really care because I’m only paying $1.25. Maybe I should care but I just don’t. Anyway, all that to say I highly recommend this cleanser and I’d actually say to grab extra. Get 2 or 3, just don’t clear the shelf because that’s rude. Personally I bought 4 for myself and my oldest daughter, don’t worry there were like 20 at my store!

GBC Super Berry Exfoliating Jelly Cleanser- ⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is a new cleanser for me, I’ve only used it 2 or 3 times so take my review with a grain of salt. It’s really, really ok. It’s not great but it’s definitely not bad. It smells very nice, berry and candy like, which is fun. My face does feel clean after using it, albeit tight and kind of dry. I wouldn’t say it really exfoliated my skin, usually after exfoliating I feel smoother and I didn’t notice that. Anyway, I’m really not sure if I’d recommend this. I’ll continue to use it because I use everything I buy, but I probably wouldn’t purchase it again.

Splash Makeup Melting Lava Oil Cleanser- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ok y’all, before I start, I do not wear makeup so I can’t say whether this actually melts off makeup, but I really enjoy using this for a double cleanse. It’s not super special and it doesn’t work miracles but it does seem to clean my skin well and I feel soft after using it. I haven’t noticed any irritation or negative effects (affects?) after using it either and in my opinion it’s a really nice oil cleanser if you want to try double cleansing. Definitely recommend this one, I will absolutely repurchase when I finish the bottle!

Revive Skin Barrier Support Wipes w/ Hydrating Niacinimides- ⭐️ So, I’m not really sure what to make of these wipes. I’ve used them at least once a day for 2 or 3 weeks, sometimes twice and I guess they’re fine? My skin feels tight after using them but it’s never burned or been irritated and they haven’t ever flared my rosacea. I’m just really not sure they do anything. I really wanted to love these wipes, I think very highly of the Revive’s other stuff, I just don’t think these wipes are anything to write home about. They also have niacinimides in them and knowing how many folks react badly to that ingredient I can’t recommend these. I will probably finish using them as I don’t want to throw them out but I won’t buy them again.

Splash The Everything Hydrating Balm- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is one of my new favorite daytime lip balms for sure! When I bought this I grabbed 2 extras on a whim and I’m so glad I did. I love fat lip balms and this fits the bill. It’s been a great during the day balm! I’ve been keeping one in my car and my son has also taken one and he loves it. I haven’t used it anywhere else on my body so I can’t say whether it would hydrate elsewhere but I’d guess it would. It has a nice scent and it’s very juicy, if that makes sense, you can really load it up on your lips and they look shiny and pretty! Definitely recommend this, and I’ll 100% repurchase it!

Derma Prep Hyaluronic Acid and Squalene Hydrating Intense Cream- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was another fast favorite of mine, I immediately loved it the first time I used it. There’s a very light, clean scent to it. It has a very thin texture but hydrates really well, I’ve been using it consistently for a couple months and have already finished 3 packets! I have also already stocked up, I have about 2 or 3 extras because I do not want to run out! This moisturizer feels very luxurious, like it feels much more high end than what you’d expect from the Dollar Tree. My skin is definitely more hydrated since I’ve started using it and I really can’t say enough good things about it! Highly recommend, in fact I’d say grab a couple extras!

Derma Prep Hyaluronic Acid + Squalene Hydrating Intense Serum- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So, I love this serum almost as much as the moisturizing cream and I’ve been using it for just as long. It’s very gentle, there’s no scent, and I really think it’s made my skin feel more hydrated. My only complaint is about the packaging, it comes out very fast, even when I’m careful, and there’s no easy way to get it back in so when that happens I have to apply it to my chest and arms. I definitely recommend this serum, it’s the only serum I’ve added back into my routine since beginning to heal my skin barrier and I really like it a lot!

I really hope y’all have enjoyed my reviews, I really love trying new things and writing these up! If you have any questions please feel free to ask below!

My first haul.. I’ve collected over the last month.

Do you think I did good? Was there something I should’ve got more of? I get the bubble dip stuff for my daughter too. I have the whole set!

Ioni nails for goths with cute streaks (or anyone else)! 😆

Them coming from the Pink Cowgirl collection makes me giggle because I've ridden horses in some crazy things including nails, but these would probably be too much even for me to dare. 😅 They were PERFECT for the concert I went to last night, though (cosmic forces aligned for them to show up just in time)!

Two boxes, as per the usual for 12-nail sets (second image is the leftovers). They have a little bit of both the velvet and glass effects. I'd consider them stiletto, not almond, but I'm nitpicky. 😆 I did have to soften up a few burrs at the tips. All the colour effect is in the "topcoat", because one's already peeled up a little along the side and I can see the no-effect beneath. I probably should have slapped on a real topcoat to seal the edges because I've seen the other DT velvets do the same thing, but I was starting to run short on night-before prep time. Even so, I got my $3.50's worth from them!

(Skull friend is 3D printed! No coyotes were harmed in the making of this post (unless they have claw envy)! 🐺 )
