18M / 110kg – Starting my weight loss journey. Need advice on calorie intake and meal structure.

Hey everyone, I’m 18 years old and currently weigh 110kg (around 5'11"). I’m ready to get serious about losing weight and dropping fat, but I want to do it the right way.

I’m currently planning to eat 2 big meals a day (Intermittent Fasting style) because that fits my schedule best. I mostly eat home-cooked food.

My Questions:

  1. Given my age and weight, how many calories should I be aiming for daily to lose fat without crashing my metabolism?
  2. I’m planning to eat a lot of chicken breast (around 450g-500g a day), dal, and rotis. Does this sound like a solid foundation for someone my size?
  3. What are some "must-have" high-protein foods for an Indian diet that helped you guys lose weight?

Need help. Can therapist talk to me.

I need help about my life that I have never shared with anyone. Not even to my parents. Are there any therapists who would be willing to talk to me? Please 🥺.

I’m looking for some advice on a situation that feels like it's reaching a breaking point. I’m almost 18, and for a long time, my parents were incredibly supportive of the idea of me studying abroad. They told me they were ready to send me anywhere and would support my education regardless of the location.

Based on that, I put in the work and actually secured an offer from a university abroad. Here’s the kicker: the tuition fees are actually comparable to—and in some cases, even cheaper than—top-tier private colleges here in India.

Now that the offer is real and on the table, their entire attitude has changed. They are suddenly refusing to let me go. Their main concern seems to be that I won't be able to "survive" on my own, but I feel like I’m ready for that independence.

I truly believe that studying internationally will open up doors and global opportunities that I just won't find if I stay. I’m terrified that if I don’t take this chance, I’m going to regret it for the rest of my life and feel like I settled for a path I didn't want
