Sick time question

Im a part time cashier and i noticed that I have 14 hours of paid sick time. Tomorrow im supposed to work but I also want to stay for mother's day. Will it be approved through the app even if its a Sunday and its my only day?

Corporate getting stricter

Tell me why I am getting told to follow the scan and bad properly step by step and if I dont I'll get in trouble?? Not only that but they are watching the cameras too, i HAVE to take off hanger, scan and remove the alarms in that order instead of the more efficient way that makes me faster (which they expect us to move fast with the stupid timer) I dont get paid enough to do all that.

We all have that one lead who runs the store like the navy. Maybe it was my fault but the store was quite busy so I waited until the last half hour of my shift to ask for my 15 min break. "This line of work you have to speak up" stfu its literally just retail and i was trying to help out with the line too. I thought she was cool but now i see why everyone else doesnt like her. I cant stand this bs job.

Anyone else with a lead who thinks their job is too important?

I have finally decided to see a medical professional for my mental health and anxiety, however upon doing more research I have started to second guess how I actually or that I may not have anything after all.

For example, I have always been a nervous individual, I know i get anxiety before and during work and sometimes going outside, but then I realize I feel fine most of the time, since I dont go outside 99% of the time. That or I am most irritated for no reason other than pure annoyance with the outside world. I know I am socially awkward and get terrified at the thought of trying to function as a proper adult.

How does anxiety affect your day to day life compared to simply being nervous? I would like to hear your thoughts just so I can try and apply it to myself so I know what to ask before I make an appointment with a professional.
