To quite some autism related experiences, I often doubt perhaps it’s because I’m speaking a second language. The self doubt is strong because I’ve been in this for many years and barely get to use my first language. When I do my mind rather glitches. At the same time I’m not fully confident with my second language, as I only experienced the change in my late teens to early twenties.
Is there any research related to sequential bilingual individuals on the spectrum?
I’ve been using Korean sunscreen for a while now, products emptied including BOJ original, BOJ Aqua and Haruharu. Thought I’d make a switch and treat myself once with a lux Asian sunscreen, so went for Shiseido when I saw a good discount. Growing up we always had the physical version at home, it left a white cast and didn’t suit my acne prone skin back then. But I thought why not give their latest Expert Sun Lotion a go, since my skin is a lot better now.
Turn out it’s HORRIBLY oily and greasy. And it doesn’t go away. It keeps my face shining for a whole day, feels sticky with a film, and I had to use tissue to press away the grease. I haven’t tried putting on makeup on top of it.
Has anyone had the same experience? I didn’t expect it to be this bad. Looked up reviews and very few mentions the greasiness.
Perhaps I’m using too much product, but I thought you are supposed to use about 2 finger lengths of sunscreen, and that’s the amount I use for the Korean ones.
