What is “water logging” ?

My loctician told me my hair was “water logging.” She explained it as wetting my hair too much causes my loc to swell 3x larger than its size.

I was confused because I haven’t washed my hair in 3 months ( I didn’t have enough money for a retwist.)

I also felt discouraged when she told me my locs was not budding. I thought they were but she said “water logging.” I kind of believe her because when they washed my hair they unraveled… I started them 6 months ago. I really thought my hair would bud at this stage since my hair is 4c.

Anyways, what is “water logging”? Have you heard of this term? I keep hearing people saying water locs your hair and then I hear terms like this.

I got hurt by one. I was by her side through all the ugly times. I could have ditched her but I didn’t. I still believed she was a good person. I told her about herself and how what she was doing wasn’t right. But when things got ugly for me she left. She treated me like I was a monster. I had no support from her when times got ugly for me.

I hate being used. Fuck you narcissistic coward.
