OKAAAYYY so it started with last week the individual i was working for was really sick. he stated he wanted to stay home and rest, his house manager insists i take him out of the house, and do stuff because he’s not supposed to be at the house during the day, i do what i can all week considering he’s really not feeling well. then this week tuesday i wake up with a sore throat , water wasn’t curing. i went to work, masked up, felt AWFUL all day. wednesday wake up throwing up , aches etc normal flu/norovirus symptoms obviously i stayed home, wednesday Thursday and today (friday) because it still hasn’t been 24 hrs since i got sick. that’s company policy. now here’s where it gets tricky, my vacation is next week and ive been told “ok we may need to move your vacation we are really short staffed” like i understand.. but it kinda seems like punishment ? like i don’t get to go on my vacation i requested months ago, because we’re short staffed. but someone was on vacay last week, and someone will be on vacation every week until june 30, except for me and one other person having to move our vacation . and if every weeks filled up till july then my vacation disappears because we go by fiscal year. yeah anyways im upset because i never call out never get sick try my best to work when i don’t feel well etc, and like i was so excited to have this lil staycation because i haven’t taken a day off since september. so yah. lmk.
