So… The Adamantine story is over (For Now Probably)

And that was the most garbage ending ever. I don’t think Ahmed realizes that having Logan only win because alternate universe Wolverines showed up makes Wolvie look bad? The extended good bye sequence?

This is the clumsiest way to end a story ever. The Wolverine series has been pure garbage for 20 issues now.

I grew up in Florida, but not Clermont (used to pass through and make fun of it on the way to Orlando). Moved here because I got a girl pregnant and now I’m kind of stuck here because she’s… well, trust issues and all that, and that’s all I’ll say.

Anyway, there’s seemingly nothing here. No scene of any kind. Shitty bars. No clubs. I go out and there’s barely anyone attractive enough to be worth talking to. It’s all MAGA Barbies and bros, as far as the eye can see. I work from home and just sit here, because going anywhere is a waste of time.

Am I missing something? I’ve lived a lot of places and I’ve never lived in a shitty place like this before.

So, I’m an ‘80s kid and the first computers I ever used were Apple IIe’s. They were simple enough a bunch of 7 years old could use them, and they were awesome. Later, we’d get Macintosh’s and it was even better. The layout of the UI - stuff you don’t think about as a kid, but that make it easier or harder - was amazing. I loved them.

Once I moved to middle school, computers were PCs and not as much fun to use until Windows came along, which to my mind back then was just wannabe-Macintosh UI. However, since then - mid 90s, roundabout - I’ve used PCs. I always rationalized it as I was able to get similar performance for cheaper. That’s all I really cared about.

I eventually got an iPhone and I loved it, and then this year I decided to get a MacBook Air. It was in my budget and had all the performance I needed for work. Done and done.

I’ve been using it for a month and it revolutionized the way I work. I’m always using my phone and my laptop, and now I can use them with each other. That’s an amazing time saver for me, allowing me to low impact work on my phone and then seamlessly switch to my MacBook for things that need more RAM or quicker typing or whatever. That right there cuts hours out of my work.

The keyboard and touchpad are so responsive. Commands are common sense button pushes that don’t make me reach my hand across the keyboard. The touchpads control are my favorite thing ever. The UI is amazing. Everything is better.

I enjoy my work again. I love working on my MacBook. I love using it.

Now I’m Apple all the way. For me, for my family.
