So usually they release the patch notes 4 days before the season drops.

What are your expectations? What do you think is going to be addressed or changed with season 3 launch?

Personally, I think they are going to address most of gunplay issues with season launch and potentially more adjustments to the attachments points system.

So, suppression is fundamentally changed from how it was in BF4 and BF3 and scaled back to a point where it feels like it is just there to give you 5 XP/Assist while having a lack on penalty for the receiver... having visual filter on your screen and delaying your health regen is not really that impactful, since most people (in my experience) are playing support and healing themselves.

Right now, we have LMGs which are supposedly designed to deny areas, but the suppression mechanic is so weak that it actually rewards the person being shot at. Like if I’m dumping 100 rounds down a hallway, you shouldn't be able to confidently peek that angle and kill me due to the laser-beamy guns we have at the moment which hopefully the upcoming gunplay changes fixes that.

Some stuff that I think should be implemented and brought back from previous titles to make suppressing people actually a tactically viable strategy.

  • Scope Sway from BF3/BF4, this IMO is the most important, because it is really frustrating to suppress a sniper and he just chills there, line up a shot and kills you. WHILE ALSO, having the RNG of being in a sweet spot zone and getting one tapped from a body shot.

>In BF3/BF4, this mechanic had a "Random Bullet Deviation" which shouldn't be brought back because it was absolutely hated and annoying.

  • Audio muffling, this shouldn't be annoying but more like "I'm getting shot at, maybe I should reposition or I'm gonna lose my situational awareness." sort of speak.
  • XP for suppression should be buffed to incitive doing it, and feeling rewarded when you pin down enemies in a hallway while your teammates push and take them out.

But to compensate for it,

  • To prevent LMG hip fire spam, these effects should at maximum effectiveness while being in a mounted state and like 20-30% effective if shot from the hip.
  • Add it as a weapon stat, for example, LMGs should have high suppression values while SMGs and pistols have very minimal impact.

Hello, I'm about to buy the game but I need some honest opinions before I get it.

I have been playing shooters and extraction shooters for almost a decade and always thought of buying Hunt but never caught my attention for some reason... most likely cause I will play it solo.

Is the game actually fun to play as solo? and how punishing is dying in game? Like as someone who played Escape from Tarkov for 4-5K hours, I kinda hope that Hunt is not as punish-y when you die.

Also what about the live support from Crytek? good for long term?

Hello, I'm thinking about starting a new world in ATM10 and try to use only Create for everything that create can do in the modpack. so I was wondering how far can Create go in ATM10? will I be able to go into late game or nope?

Will use other essential tech mods for sure like AE2 and so on.

I always like to use non-optimal tools in my playthrough, like relying on Elytra for traversing instead of getting that jet pack or flight potion cards in pylon and building elevators with create and actually use them instead of flying and teleporting across the base. feels a lot more rewarding to me so idk.

I'm really enjoying the game mode and I'm sure A LOT more do.
Just extend it to the end of the season, like there are only 2 weeks left anyways.
