I just started a brand new All the mods 10 server running the latest version on a high quality server that can easily handle 10-20 active players (Hosted in New Jersey). I am looking for some friendly faces to join! Right now it is just me but I am a firm believer that Minecraft is no fun when playing alone. I am in my 20's and play most days after work with a bit more free time on the weekends. I am looking for people over the age of 16 that would like to play along with me. Hoping to create a small community of players who are friendly and like to socialize (something like that of Hermit Craft). Im a little bit miffed... After finally finding an ancient city on the hunt for suspicious clay so that I can get the allthemodium smithing thingy. Frustratingly fighting off wardens and dealing with their blindness effect in the process, I finally find a piece of "clay" around the border of the floor, where Ive heard it should be. So i try collecting it with my mining gadget... nothing... I couldn't find another piece in that city, so I /rtp and use the explorers compass to find another ancient city.. couldnt find any clay there. So i try another ancient city.. this time I finally find another piece after another frustrating time, and I try breaking it with a stone shovel.. nothing again. Eventually I got frustrated with it and spawned in the suspicious clay, placed it and tried breaking it for the smithing template.. I did this a few times, maybe its a rare drop as well as rare block?... but its not dropping one, so what gives? what am I doing wrong? I feel like I may aswell just spawn one in at this rate.

UPDATE: Im an idiot, I didnt read the questbook like a complete noob.. You need to use a brush to collect it

So when I am killing some mobs with spells from Irons and spells it’s crashes the game (we have server with boys). I have been using spells for a lot and it was fine, but suddenly it started to crash server(

So I'm about 5 hours into the building and realised that I made the building one block too long is there any way that I can delete that row copy and paste the one side to meet the other. Or am I gonna have to tear it down to start again. It needs to be symmetrical.

I automated the imbuent chamber, but the items don't get out of the pedestal when the crafting is done. Is there any way to automate that too? I'm trying it using a level emitter and redstone-activated import buses on the pedestal but I don't know if I can connect that right.

do stage4/5 dragon caves still spawn in twilight forest ? I'm playing in 1.18.2 and I haven't been to TF yet. if they don't pls lmk how I can make them spawn there cuz its hard to find dragon caves in the overworked even w xaeros minimal

Maybe I’m just completely dumb, but I just spent dozens of minutes trying to figure this out. I’m posting this here to hopefully save some of you a lifetime of frustration.

I was searching through other Reddit threads for a fix, but mostly kept running into advice telling me to use Chisel microblocks between them (which often doesn't work) or other broken workarounds. While the current native Mekanism solution isn't the most elegant and takes a little bit of time to set up, it actually gets the job done.

If you're trying to run two Advanced Mechanical Pipes (or any other Mekanism pipes) right next to each other in ATM10 and they keep automatically connecting into a mess, here is how you stop it:

1. Grab your Configurator.
2. Look closely at the pipe. Mekanism actually divides a single pipe cable into 3 separate hitboxes per block.
3. You need to aim specifically at the center section of the pipe block.
4. Shift + Right-click to cycle through the connection states (the same section where you normally set Push/Pull, etc.).
5. Keep cycling until the state is set to None.

Once it's set to "None", the pipe will immediately disconnect from the adjacent cables. Just remember the golden rule: it has to be done on the middle hitbox of the block, otherwise it won't work!

After a long run in ATM10, I fancied giving TTS a go. First hour or so was fine. Reloaded next day and the game freezes when it auto saves (within a few minutes). The words saving world displays bottom right and the game freezes.

Reddit, Google and GitHub searches show others have experienced this issue but no solution is reported on the posts I've found.

I tried disabling simple backups in the .tomi which had no effect.

Has anyone else experienced this and can offer a solution, please?
