I texted this guy I like, just in a friendly way saying if he wanted to hangout sometime lmk. It's been a day and a half and he hasn't responded. I keep checking my phone and can't stop thinking about it. It's driving me a bit crazy. Do you think there's still a chance he'll respond. Should I just try to forget about it? How do I distract myself?
I know this guy through a club we're in (we're in college) and we've talked a few times. I think he's pretty cool and we have a lot in common. I wanted to ask for his number at our last club meeting but chickened out. Our club messages through this app caller 'slack', so I thought that maybe I could message him on there and give him my number so we could maybe do something this summer. He's staying in the city this summer (as am i), but not many people do. So it would be nice to have someone to hang out with. But is this a weird thing to do? What should I say?
