Recently launched Etsy shop — 3D printed Roman & Greek busts/statues

Hey everyone,

I just launched my Etsy shop, where I sell 3D printed Roman and Greek-inspired statues and busts.
The focus is on classical antiquity pieces — think marble-style busts of philosophers, Roman emperors, and Greek-inspired sculptures designed for home decor, desks, bookshelves, and gallery setups.
Everything is printed with a clean, minimal aesthetic meant to feel like museum-style replicas without the crazy price tag.

Thank you!

Help making my first sale

I’m looking for honest feedback on my Etsy shop and hoping to get some outside perspectives on what I can improve to help me make my first sale. I opened my shop a few months ago and haven’t really gained any traction. I’ve tried Etsy Ads which brought in a little more traffic but did not bring in any sales.

I sell antique/classical inspired prints and decor pieces focused on Roman, Greek, and historical aesthetics. I’ve been working on improving my listings, photos, and SEO, but I still feel like I’m missing something when it comes to converting traffic into sales.

Questions:

  1. Do my listing photos and thumbnails look strong enough to compete in Etsy search results, or do they need improvement?

  2. Does my shop branding and overall presentation feel cohesive and trustworthy, or are there areas that make the shop feel incomplete?

Answers to required questions:

  1. What inspired you to create this shop?

I’ve always been interested in classical history, antique artwork, and historical architecture. I wanted to create a shop centered around decor and prints that reflected those interests because I felt there was a niche for historical and classical-inspired pieces that still worked in modern homes.

  1. What research have you already done on your shop prior to opening? What is something you learned from that research?

Before opening, I spent a lot of time researching successful Etsy shops in the wall art and decor categories. One thing I learned was how important thumbnails and first impressions are. Many successful shops use very clean, consistent product photography and branding, which is something I’ve been trying to improve in my own listings.

I appreciate any constructive criticism people are willing to give. I’m mainly trying to figure out what experienced sellers notice immediately that I may be overlooking.
