Hypochlorous acid + skin musk notes… am I insane?
A bit embarrassed to admit this and hope I don’t come across as TOO unhinged but I am obsessed with the smell combo of hypochlorous acid (product used as antibacterialisng skin care, has a light chlorine scent) + human skin. Just the smell of hypochlorous acid as a mist is fine enough but when I smell my palms right after patting it onto my face, it makes me want to crawl into my own skin in a really good way. It reminds me of a distinct childhood smell I would have lingering on my skin after a full day at the pool… The type of inoffensive chlorine note that remains a bit even after a shower.
Is there any perfume out there that would be accessible from the EU with a skin and chlorine note, that isn’t totally offensive to the general public? The smell I am trying to describe isn’t too bleachy or overly chemically at all, it’s very comforting and warm in a distinctly sterile way.
Unfortunately I need this in my life or I’ll be stuck spraying hypochlorous acid spray onto my palms to sniff every few hours like a weirdo. For now the best idea I can come up with is settling for finding a chlorine note EDP and combining that with Phlur’s Missing Person for the skin element.
