So I just wanted some help about how to tell my family about a thing that happened in my life 4 years ago. I was 14 at the time and that summer I was just with my grandma and the others relatives nearby were my uncles and cousins. It was in a really small town were we didn't have anything more than a church and a couple of shops or coffe shops...so my plans were staying with my 76 year old grandma playing cards. And don't get me wrong it was good, but for a teenager was a bit boring, so I decided to spend more time with one of my cousins who was 16.
She was a really bad influence and I didn't realize at the moment, she was sm*king we*d at 13, being violent, running away from home, dr*nking...and I was easily influenced by that because she was at the time my lovely cousin and my only distraction. (I only sm*ked and dr*nk because of her preasure, i never did violent things).
But the thing is that we met some older guys that were a friend of a friend, and they were both 20 years old...so after two times hanging out my cousin decided to invite them over her place at 3am so they could bring w*ed...and we were hanging out like in a community patio from her urbanization...so things escalated when my cousin brought out some alcoh*l from her house too, and I ended up dr*nking and sm*king with them...the thing is one of the boys was really close to me, t*uching me and kissing me and I did it back...and we ended having s*x on a secluded area...and yes, my cousin did know about it...
At the time I didn't realize I was getting used and I was r*ped, because at that estate of mind and at that age it was imposible to me to give my consent legally. And so I didn't even think about reporting this to the police.
So now 4 years later I don't know what to do about how to tell my parents about it, because I have keep it secret from them, only some of my friends know and I just told them once, we don't really speak about it, and its fine I think im over the situation but still, I know it was really bad and I don't know how to tell them. So I would appreciate some advice. And I will try to update or give any info that you need. Also English is not my first language.
(Also please don't speak bad about my parents because they were working at the time and they were hours away. And the moment they came back to have their holidays with me and I told them I wanted to go home because I didn't want to spend more time with my cousin they did, because i explain them briefly how she was acting.)
