35/m, do these wisdom teeth need to come out?

Unfortunately my dentist office is closed today so i cant call to have my full pano xrays emailed to me, but i have these photos i took with my phone. I got a referral to have all 4 removed. 3 look like the second photo. The one in the first photo (bottom right tooth) causes a small pocket that i have to floss every night. But i have no pain.

Just a bit worried about cost and potential complications with my age. Are teeth still moving by my 30s?

My company requires notifying them prior to submitting the application. Does it matter that she wont see it for another 6 weeks if i send her an email today? Should i notify her manager (VP of company..) instead?

We have a good relationship, and id only be applying due to AI workforce reduction concerns for my team, so i dont love the idea of her coming back from leave to find me gone. Or if i didnt get the job, to find out i had applied and tried leaving while she was gone.

Can i even transfer internally without her signing off on required paperwork?

Thanks!

Ive read a lot about proposal writing for software/construction/NGO companies who apply for government bids etc, and it sounds like a grind. Long hours, late nights and weekend work around final submission time. Makes sense, but im curious how that differs for CROs and CDMOs?

Since they already have an established relationship with sponsor organizations, and typically provide a rather niche analytical or clinical offering such that new clients will seek them out, is it as much of a grind? Or is it more about finalizing contracts and ensuring the sponsor is paying for all of the required work including nuanced situations for each study?

Im exploring options outside of the lab, and just curious if anyone here has that experience or knows others who have been in that position. Thanks!

My company (biotech/pharma CRO) has posted a requisition for a proposal writer that I would qualify for. The team size is about the same as mine. I enjoy my job, but our company is currently in the process of contracting an external vendor to develop an LLM software to write our project documentation. My manager has assured us our job is safe, and we will pivot to become the SMEs for writing documentation with the "AI" software, but it still makes me nervous long-term. Does proposal writing have a more protected future against the LLM overhaul? What about salary outlook?

I've searched and read previous discussions on the subject in this forum, and the reviews are mixed. It sounds like some people enjoy TW more, others proposal writing, and in general it depends on the company environment, team structure, and personal temperament. I'm an introvert socially, but have no problem communicating with others for a job. Sometimes i enjoy giving presentations. And i like finances, though my training is in science.

Just curious if anyone has made a similar career change, ideally within the same company, and how it worked out? Also open to vice-versa (PW -> TW).

10 day forecast is looking good, some chilly nights but nothing below freezing.

I may have started seeds inside a bit too early this year, and they're begging for a permanent home. Already repotted the zucchini and butternut squash "starters" twice 🫠

Edit: thanks for the feedback everyone. We just bought a house with a yard last year so this is our first legit garden. Going to get some cold-tolerant seeds in the ground this weekend, and maybe a new round of starters for squash and tomatos is in our future.

I know its a relatively high pop card for PSA 10, but considering its a top 3 contender for 151 do we think it can break $1k at some point? It topped out around $600 with the recent 151 pump but is holding steady around $500.

I'm a beginner "audio enthusiast" (not quite audiophile) that loves building things. I'm looking to build my first set of speakers, on a budget. I've seen the overnight sensation and C-Note kits on parts express, but have been perusing other options in the meantime. I've see these little speakers get a lot of chatter on other forums (audio science, diyaudio, techtalk) but there seem to be no mention of them here. Just wondering if anyone here has tried building or heard them. Current price for all parts (without amp) is around $80 plus shipping. I have 1/2" MDF in my garage. Not bad. They would be paired with a dayton audio CS1000 subwoofer.

Considered hair transplants - far too expensive, risky, and seems painful. Plus no guarantee of long term success.

Considered being bald - it would be fine, and id get used to it, but i like having hair.

Sounds like the hair system is the best option for me. Just need some reassurance 😅
