Selling the whole collection tomorrow for 120k. It was fun while it lasted.
My son pulled this from a Walmart pack he bought. Our store is always sold out and this is what’s left most of the time. We’re new to the hobby.
I see sales rn for around 400 usd im worried about the high pop though. Great art imo and i see the prices steadily increasing but the pop scares me. What are yalls thoughts?
I'm trying to add these to my collectr app and cannot find it. I tried "Celebi pin" and that gave me the one with FS and Battle Styles, but I cannot find the one with Rebel Clash. I assume they'd be around the same value though.
One of my best decisions yet although it was a bit accidental.
Pre-ordered 4 for me and brother(2 max per person) and just trying our chance to secure another 2 during the collection day(and asked since we have 6 BBs might as well just give us the sealed case).
Is it logical to hold it till December 2027 and sell it for around $5000 by then? Selling/Exit has been the most daunting part of the whole collecting/investing part of Pokemon for me.
Held these forever now. Most have white edging, the zards have a crease and other a scratch. Decisions, decisions..
For context, I've been selling on Ebay for less than a year. Around 200 transactions, all smooth. In February, I sold 2 sealed booster bundles from my collection. I just got this negative review. I know I shouldn't be bothered by it, but damn I hate the implication that I'm a scammer or something. Is there anything I should do? I dont see any option to dispute the review, just to message the buyer.
I found these two cards in a storage bin, they are still in a wrapper and have a coin that says “pokemon center” on the back. Does anyone have an idea of the value or if psa grades sealed products with coins attached?
As the title states, in looking to buy my first slab. I can’t decide between these three, I enjoy them all; and if I could afford to buy all three I would. That could be a possibility over time. But, for now I’d like to get some opinions on which card is the best investment right now. Looking for one of these in a PSA 8.
Potentially worth anything been Ina folder since pulled likely
Does anyone know why this card is going down so much? Imo, the art looks cool and there is also going to be a darkrai set soon.
Bought my grail psa 10 slab last week in a card show meetup. Didn’t realize the dirt until I got home. It’s new cert and a psa 10. Messaged the seller and he told and showed me it just came back from grading 2 weeks before I bought it. Kinda bumed with it but honestly not so bad cause it’s dirt and doesn’t damage the card but its still bothers me. Do you think this white dirt stuff will ruin the value in the future? What do you guys think? Still wanna keep it but scared it won’t have value anymore.
P.S Everything else is clean but that part.
Hi,
I'm thinking about buying the Charizard UPC for €450. I'm not so sure about the investment / ROI on it.
I have a €1000 to spend. Do you have any other recommandations? €600 i can get a 151 UPC. But the price is crazy now.
Also, how collecible are UPC's vs ETB's? Thats what's mostly holding me back.
Has anyone dealt with a vendor at collect a con (Chicago) and had a good experience?
Long story short, I’m intending to unload most of my ungraded cards and keeping my slabs and sealed for long term. My singles are very nice, Mint / NM vintage with a market of about 25k. Here’s the issue: things like TCG Player and Collectr don’t truly identify vintage market the same way they easily can modern. NM vintage is VERY different - especially when mine is true NM and TCG Player NM is like a PSA 5.
As a result: I’m wanting to get a high percent (90%) on my “market” - knowing that’s truly probably 80% or even high 70’s of what it could sell for when comped individually. So…..Who buys strong?
TLDR: what vendors buy collections, especially vintage, and pay super strong?
