eye
Hello everyone,
About 24 days ago, i was in a garden, I was hit in the eye by a tree branch. For context, this tree had 1-inch thorns sharp enough to pierce through boots.
I am actually confused whether a thorn directly hit my eye or if it was just the branch, as everything happened so fast i was totally numb not because of pain but fear .However, since the impact, my eye has not turned red, and I haven't experienced any blurred vision or severe sharp pain.
Even now, 24 days later, I have a persistent dull pain and a little discomfort around and inside the eye area. It’s an intermittent sensation that’s hard to pinpoint. Since the eye looks physically clear (no redness or swelling) and my vision is fine, I’ve been hesitant to see a doctor.
Could this dull pain be a sign of a minor injury from a thorn that I didn't notice, or just nerve irritation from the impact? Should I still get a professional exam despite the lack of redness?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
