Hi all! New solo dev here. I built Boosted Poker, a Texas Hold'em game with two twists:

1. Every hand you draw a power-up card that gives you abilities like peeking at the next community card, changing the suit of a card, freezing an opponent, etc.
2. Every hand has a random rule modifier that applies to all players. For example, flushes can be made with only 4 cards of the same suit, straights can skip a number in the middle, players get 3 hole cards, etc.

Inspiration came from fast-paced strategy games like Hearthstone / Marvel Snap / Clash Royale, combined with my love of poker. Standard poker gets repetitive after enough sessions. The modifiers and power-ups in Boosted Poker keep every hand unfamiliar, even playing with the same friend group. Most Hold'em strategy still applies, but now with new levels of complexity.

It's free, no signup required, runs in any browser, with targeted game times of 5-10 minute tournaments. There's a tutorial and a practice mode against bots if you'd like to try it solo first.

Long-term, I'd love to add a ranking system for competitive play. Open to all feedback, both from people familiar with poker / strategy games or those with little experience.

I've recently started searching for "birthday" serial numbered cards that match the MMDD/YYYY format. For example, if you were born on May 5th, 2000, you could collect cards with serial number 0505/2000.

They're pretty difficult to find, but that makes it even more special if you find one from a favorite team or favorite player.

I'm curious if anyone else has serial numbers that they collect, and if you target any type of card with that serial number, or if you search for ones from a specific team / player.

I've been thinking it'd be cool to build a tool to automatically pull any online listings with a specific serial number, or you could receive email updates when new cards are up for sale, so I'm just generally curious how many other people collect in this way!
