I need to travel unexpectedly, so i'll be transporting my fertility medicine (Menopur, in case it's relevant). The box has a sticker on it that says "must be refrigerated between 2 and 8 Celsius degrees".

I'm traveling by train and the trip takes 12hs door to door.

I have a supposedly decent cooler box (this one, in case it's relevant) and i'm planning to transport my medicines there with a bunch of cooling pads. But here is where my panic starts to take over:

* I'm afraid of freezing the pads, because 0 degrees is under the recommended range

* I'm afraid of just cooling the pads in the refrigerator, because maybe by the end of the trip it's already going to be above the recommended range.

Has anyone a scientific answer to what is the right way to proceed?
