Nicest venue at gmu?

I saw my friend at another college help host a really nice charity gala and they got big names to come and speak and raised a lot of money and I would like to do smth similar here but we don’t really have name recognition like his school. He goes to an Ivy League type campus with really beautiful old wooden interiors and that lighting and stone out front which obv Mason doesn’t have, but I was wondering if anyone knows about any really nice venues that we have access to book as a club for these types of events? Maybe on sci tech or Arlington or in Peterson? Idk I don’t explore campus all that much but if dewberry and the jc bistro is all we got ig ill make do 😭

Hi guys, I’m a student who turned down George Washington because the school I’m going to is only 13 K while GW gave me no aid. i’m from the DC area so I’ve been at GW and I know how nice it is and I’ve seen the buildings.

The thing is if I transfer I’m pretty sure I’m gonna have to stay an extra year because at my current college I can graduate in 2 1/2 years because of AP credits and summer classes.

With your experience, especially if your premed in the public health program, would you say it’s worth it to transfer for the opportunities? I’ve also been having trouble getting involved in research at my school. How difficult is that here at GW? Thank you!
