Linen shirt brands that are for people on a budget?

Hey guys, looking to change up my fashion, and wanting some shirts that will keep me cool. Button ups, Henley's, and maybe monk collar. I get super hot in the summer, but I also like long sleeve rolled up shirts, or like 3/4th sleeve shirts that go like halfway down the forearm, so I was told linen was the way to go. I've tried a few different like athletic shirts but I'm looking for something more natural and none of those really worked for me. They were comfortable, but it didn't really fit my vibe if that makes sense, so I'd like to try some more natural material.

But, therein lies the rub. I'm not really super well off money wise, soni can't be paying like $70-$100 for one shirt, especially since I'm just trying linen out for the first time. I've seen tons of shirts on Amazon, but I'm not sure of the quality. So, are there any brands that sell linen shirts that aren't too expensive? I'd even take a linen mix to be a bit softer.

One near thing I did see that I'm interested in, was there were a couple long sleeve shirts that had like a strap/tab that buttons to hold your sleeve up. If any brands have that, that would be nice, as when I have long sleeves I roll them up just under the elbow, but they are constantly falling down.

Anyways, thanks guys I'm excited to see if this kind of shirt can help me not sweat

How do I search the bookstore?

Ok I'm a dumb person. I've never bought or downloaded books on my phone before. But, I got the 70 pro and it has a default book app a with a bookstore tab. Trouble is there's no search it's just random books. Is there a search function. If not, what is a good app to get books? I've tried downloading pdfs but they are too small and not sized correctly for phone.

Thanks for the help everyone.

Wallpapers that really accentuate the screen?

Just got a 70 pro, and I noticed something kind of odd. Maybe it's just me but there are certain wallpapers that really accentuate the unique screen, but other wallpapers where you can barely tell that the screen is unique at all.

I noticed this because when I first got into the phone store and was looking around, my eye was immediately drawn to the screen of the 70 pro. It had that yellow and blue thick paint default wallpaper and I don't know what it was, maybe it's the tactile nature of the wallpaper, or maybe it's the colors, but it really makes the screen look really good and you can definitely tell there is something different about this screen it stood out amongst all the other phones even the great flagship phones. But after I bought it, and I put on one of my normal wallpapers either Star wars or marvel or whatever, it really just didn't look great. There wasn't nearly as much detail in the dark areas of the pictures, and it kind of hid the unique quality of the screen.

So, what kinds of wallpapers do you guys think help make the screen pop?

Also, I wish we could change the paper wallpaper. Would love like a black and white ink painting or something

Okay I was just starting out and I'm playing solo and I have a confession to make. I'm a little scared lol. I am still confused about stuff it's really hard to know what's going on at times I'm so far I've just been kind of doing cargo missions and a couple mining missions. But what I found myself doing is not going to new locations as much and kind of backtracking a little bit and staying with him the early area. Is there anything that is going to happen that is bad if I do that? Can I just chill out here for a while until I get some money and get a better ship or something? Or does the game progressively get more difficult every time I travel? I knew it was kind of like a roguelike so I wasn't sure how exactly it worked. Honestly kind of having fun just playing this game as a slightly dangerous cargo hauling submarine maintenance simulator.

Honestly wishing that somebody would take a lot of these ideas and turn it into an actual more open less roguelike game where you don't start over when you die and it's more focused on me exploration that I'm just trying to survive. Not saying trying to survive shouldn't exist because it is like a horror game, but I find myself imagining like a more open world side scrolling game where you'll unlock new locations and delve deeper and deeper but not in like us segmented map mode in like a big open world mode maybe like Dave the diver or dive or die like a Metro being a style map sort of but make it like a story driven survival crafting game that is also scary. Traveling to different stations in a seamless open map would be really awesome and you'd have to unlock different upgrades for your sub and your stuff before you can get to different areas. I think maybe it's stupid and this game has all that stuff but that's an interesting idea I'd like see like a bigger more open world so you can truly explore. I find myself just kind of b lining it to each mission location so it's like a minute or so drive unless I have to shoot something and I'd like to get to just be more open and welcoming for exploration. I think the fact that I could die and lose literally all of my progress I have to start over is keeping me from actually wanting to explore these areas. I guess I'm really looking for something similar to this but less of a hardcore experience and something I can actually like save and reload if I die with more open map and a more focused on upgrades to further exploration to walk more of the story.

Enough of that tangent it's probably really stupid idea anyways so basically just the title question.

I'm kind of going for this more natural theme for my phone. Just got it and the tactile feel of it and the paper looking screen just makes me want something more simple. I have a pretty cool wallpaper but I was wondering if you could change the wallpaper in the color paper mode or ink paper mode. I know Max Inc probably wouldn't let you do it, but I was wondering if they'd let me have a black and white wallpaper. Keep the paper texture look, but something like a yin Yang or something would be awesome maybe if I could find one that looks like it was inkbrushed or something. I haven't gone looking yet because I'm not even sure if I can change the wallpaper.

I know different launchers will give you different options but I'm not sure if any of those third party launchers are compatible with the paper modes. It's going to be a bummer if I can't switch the wallpaper and paper mode, but I suppose I get it.. sort of

This is probably really stupid but the first thing I noticed about the Star wars Jedi power battles remasters that you can no longer break the screens and computers. Is that on purpose? Or is it a bug?

This is the first time I've actually asked myself that question. Usually it's a simple obviously because it protects the screen. But with this specific type of screen it can go two different ways. Firstly if I get a normal screen protector or like a tempered glass one, it will reverse one of the main selling points of the phone. But, if I get a text screen screen protector, won't it increase the amount of blur that the phone already possesses by having a textured screen? I can already tell things are kind of blurry so do I want them to become even more so? What did you guys decide?

I'm trying to get that case with the stylus on it that's advertised in pictures with the phone, but I can't find it. When I go to the TLC website there's no purchase option. Is there a place where I can buy one of these?

Hey guys, I just got this phone and one thing that is really stressing me out is how limited it seems. I knew it wasn't going to be like one of the greatest running bones of all time, but they're simple things that are really stressing out with trying to move apps around on the app tray is really stressing me out because if I try to move a folder it tries to put it on the home screen or if I try to move an app that's in a folder on to my home screen it doesn't want me to I have to move it out of the folder and try not to accidentally move into another folder and then I have to grab it and to put it on the home screen and if I miss ordered my folders I can't move them because it doesn't let me move them around on the app tray it wants to put them on the home screen. Really annoying.

But anyways, another thing that I was wondering is, is there a way to change the theme? Like the icons and stuff? I've only ever had Motorola and Samsung phones, but they both had sort of theme stores where you can get free and paid themes and icons and stuff I love customization that's one of my favorite parts about Android phones so I was really hoping to be able to have customized icons and such to match whatever theme I'm in. Is this a thing that I can do?

Okay so maybe I shouldn't be doing this because it's inevitably going to lose against most phones, but I was comparing the image quality next to my old phone the Moto g stylus 2024 and obviously yeah the pictures sharper on the Moto because it doesn't have the soft screen, but another thing I was noticing was that although the blacks are darker on the Moto because it's OLED, there was also more detail in the dark areas in the dark areas seemed lighter. So oddly enough even though the darkest parts of the 70 aren't even close to the darkest parts of the moto, you still get less detail in the dark areas. Is there any way to fix this? It just seems like the contrast of the screen is too high. Even when just looking at my home screen and the icons there's just something weird about it everything just seems too saturated even though I turned off the NXT vision stuff I thought. But I honestly can't tell the difference. Everything just seems way too saturated and way too high contrast. Anyone else having this issue, or is it just how the phone is going to be and I need to deal with it?.

This is why I have decision anxiety. Because every time I actually do make a decision it's questionable. And someone who mainly uses my phone to look at media, I decided to get the phone it's going to look worse in every way than the phone I already had.... I just couldn't stop looking at the screen when I was at the store lol. It's so fascinating. Why the hell did I get this LOL I don't even read books on my phone I like holding paper. Though I may try now because this phone is built for it so I might as well give it a shot, I can't help feel like I made the wrong decision which is just reinforcing my decision anxiety issue LOL. What I really need to do is stop comparing it to other phones and just come to terms with the fact that I got a phone that's focus is not image quality.

Sorry this is a stupid question but I feel like a lot of these companies don't restock their stuff. I've looked at a few brands trying to get gray high top canvas shoes like Vans, and there's a couple that I've seen like whitins and splays, And there was another one but I can't remember the name. Trouble is, both of them have the exact shoe that I want. Both of them have a nice high top gray sneaker that looks absolutely perfect.... But they're out of stock in basically every size. And I've been looking at them for a few weeks now and night of them have restocked. Am I just out of luck? It really sucks to see how cool and perfect these shoes look there like exactly what I want, but knowing that I will never have them. I can't find them secondhand either... I got to say it's not a great feeling when you know that the perfect item exists, and that you can afford it, but you still just can't reach it.

Found out about this game recently in the lovecraftian event on steam. Looked super cool as I'm trying to weaponize my fascination / fear of the deep but the only other game I can think of is dive or die, or subnautica. This one looked super cool and the whole idea of traveling through the ocean in a submarine that could have creepy creatures around it or in it seems really cool. I'm not sure how much actual exploration there is because of the level system I guess? But still I'm excited.

Trouble is, I'm basically on my own. My playtimes are really weird and I can't be on Mic when I play because it's usually downtime at work so I'm basically just going to be playing on my own. From the reviews that I watched on the game they said playing on your own is terrible. That's fine with me, but I was wondering if any of you had any tips or tricks for a solo player that could help mitigate the terrible.

I've been watching basically every review that I can find because I've been dreaming about this controller ever since I set my hands on the first steam deck, and only two of them mentioned this.

From what they said, this game only works on games that are on steam. One of which tried to play Diablo from obviously the blizzard launcher and the controller was not detected and would not work with the game. He had to then add it as a steam game on steam to be able to use the controller. Now I know it's just a simple step as adding the exe as a steam game, but I feel like it's unnecessary and shouldn't have been a problem. It's already bad enough that it doesn't work on something like the switch which it totally could because it has all the functionality, or the Xbox, but not even being able to use it if you're not currently using steam? That's just annoying.

Is this true? Is this something that is actually an issue? Or are these guys that reviewed it not using it correctly?

Sometimes I plug my laptop into my TV so that I can play in 4K. One weird thing that's been happening since I got my new TV is that while my games don't have screen tearing on the laptop, when I plug it into the TV there's tons of screen tearing even with Vsync on. I have set the refresh rate to the TV's refresh rate and that's really the only thing I can think of to do unless there's something wrong with the HDMI cord itself? Is that a possibility?
