CPT Codes

I received 3 CPT codes (64495) for different prices on the same day on my medical bill. Can I dispute this? It was for level 3 joint injections in my lower back after an accident.

What are some tips for negotiating lower out of pocket medical bills?

I received a bill from an orthopedic specialist where one charge is nearly 20k. What are methods you guys have used to get things like this reduced?

I am currently waiting on the itemized bill but wanted to know what to say and not say when negotiating the bill down. What can I expect when talking to the billing department?

Is it possible to both get the bill reduced *and* also get a payment plan or is it one or the other? Do medical specialists typically reduce the bill to the "cash rate" if you ask?

Having never really dealt with a medical bill this high before I am kind of at a loss and was hoping to get some advice.

What is PIP considered?

I have had 2 different lawyers tell me 2 different things regarding what medical providers considered PIP as. One said that they do *not* consider PIP as self pay/uninsured. Another said that in the state of Florida (where I live) PIP is considered self pay/3rd party payment for the purposes of billing.

Which attorney is right?
