Hey everyone,

I’ve been solo-developing Mutiny's Wake, a hardcore pirate survival game, for the last two years. The core goal has been to create a "Rust meets Black Flag" experience.

As I'm gearing up for an Early Access release (May 14th), I've put together this gameplay trailer.

I'm specifically looking for feedback on:

  • Does the first 10 seconds actually grab your attention, or is the build-up too slow?
  • Gameplay Clarity: Is it clear from the footage what kind of experience the game is offering?
  • Audio: Do the cannons and combat impacts feel punchy enough?

Any feedback is highly appreciated!

If you want to see more about the game's features, You can check it out on Steam right now.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Hey everyone!

I am the solo developer behind Mutiny's Wake, a hardcore pirate survival game. Early Access release is scheduled for May 14th, and I wanted to share a quick look at the gameplay with you all!

My goal was to blend classic survival mechanics with the Golden Age of Piracy. After a mutiny leaves you stranded, you wash ashore with nothing and have to fight for what little remains.

Here's what to expect:

  • True Hardcore Survival: Resources on the island do not respawn. Every decision and every piece of scrap matters.
  • PvP & PvE: Scavenge, build a base, craft weapons and raid enemy bases.
  • High-Stakes Naval Combat: Craft ships and cannons to hunt down heavily armed patrol vessels for massive loot rewards.

I'm using the Early Access phase to gather community feedback and refine the combat balance before the 1.0 launch. As a thank you to early supporters, anyone who plays for at least 3 hours during this phase gets exclusive Steam Inventory items.

I would love to hear some feedback!

You can check it out on Steam or YouTube right now!
