▲ 3 r/Mommit

Just like the title says I’m about to have my third in 3 weeks and my oldest will be less than 3 1/2 years old and my middle child will be 18 months. My husband is super hands-on and awesome when he is here but he started a new job in medical device sales and he’s in the OR working all the time. He’s working probably 70 hour weeks usually leaving at 4:30 in the morning to commute and getting home around 9 PM at night so I’m 100% by myself all day. Has anyone done anything like this? Is it even possible? My mom helps out when she can, but she’s older and it exhaust her dealing with the kids. I’ve thought about hiring help, but I’m just not really comfortable with someone around when the baby is less than six weeks.

I am 35 weeks with my 3rd baby and have an A1C of 6.2%. With my first pregnancy baby was born at 39 weeks weighing 8lb10oz with A1c of 5.9 and second baby was born 37+5 at 7lb11oz with A1C of 5.7. I’m scared to have my highest A1c this time and baby is measuring big and this is also my first time with excess fluid. I’ve had 2 successful vaginal deliveries after induction and would like to have another. All this to say… did anyone wait until 38 weeks for induction with an A1C above 6%? I see mostly low 5s in this group for the moms with later inductions and successful vaginal deliveries…
