Hi so i suffer from pcos, so my period sometimes can stretch for a lil longer but they do come. What’s a lil weird is i hv been noticing black blood since like yesterday on the pad. Initially till yesterday I was thinking that the blood must have oxidised on the pad but today i noticed that within 4 hours of using a new pad, i am seeing black blood which is a lil unusual because oxidisation so quickly will not turn something black within 4 hours. I am referring to 4 hours here because that was the time after which i went to the washroom and saw. I am barely having any cramps. I mean i can’t even tell it’s a period if not for the bleeding. The flow has also been kinda light like not completely filling the pad like usual times. Normally I dont get any cramps, just mild discomfort or a cramp for like 2-3 mins when doing something strenuous. I am in a live in situation with my partner. My last period was on 29 march. I have been having spotting/ scanty flow since 28 april and today is 4 may, pretty long for a period. I have also experienced a chemical pregnancy in December where i had insane cramps but it resolved on its own. In march i had gone for a scan and everything was perfect except the enlarged ovaries typical in pcos.
I took a preg test 2 days in kind of a hurry and after 6 hours when i came back home and saw that there was a faint line. Now what’s gotten me worried is when i last had chemical pregnancy, this is exactly what happened. A faint line after hours ( I was in a hurry back then as well ) Ik how a true negative looks like, that’s all what i have had all my life. It never even showed a faint line after hours. In the case of chemical pregnancy, when i checked 2 days after there was a faint line, difficult to see but it definitely was there and then uk the whole thing happened.

I am not looking for medical advice, just wanting to ask if all of this is normal. Should i take a preg test again? Is it just period blood exiting slowly? Should i go to a OBGYN.

I had ordered more stuff: 2 lotions and shower gels. They will come by tonight so i will add those pictures as well.

The products have a manufacturing date of this year so they are not near expiry.

Got them this soon because of prime membership.

And the shampoo bottle had leaked a lil so i asked for a refund. They decided to issue the refund and not take the product so win win.

Oh how i love amazon. 🫶🏼♥️🥨

Ik it’s kinda really random but like all of u hv holiday tomorrow? Because apparently my company made it a flexi ( optional leave ) Though our Bombay office does hv a holiday tomorrow. And the worst part is I can’t avail the flexi because of an insane amount of work. I used to think labour day was a mandatory holiday but turns out it isn’t?!
