Hello. I have been having back pain for the better part of 5 years. Things generally feel better when I have my insoles and HOKA shoes, but I will be spending a lot of time this summer at the beach so won't have the ability to wear them. I'm quite nervous how my lower back will hold up, especially given I've just got some flip flops now. Are there any companies that make orthotic sandals? Ideally custom, where it's like my orthotics, just as part of a sandal.

I'm going to be doing the Camino de Santiago (this big walking tour in spain) coming up later this year. I'll be walking close to 500 miles over the course of a month. While I'm in fairly good shape, i'm quite nervous about how my feet will hold up. I get arch pain and occasionally heel pain from plantar fasciitis. I'll probably wearing a my Brooks shoes, but i'm going to add a insole to it for extra arch support. Do you have something that you use for long distances? I'm also considering going to a podiatrist for a custom pair as the last thing I want is for me to give up half way when my whole family is continuing on. This is my biggest fear.! Note: I'm not seeking medical advice, just want to know some insoles you recommend.

I have pretty wide feet so use the Asics Gel Resolution Wide shoes. In the last few weeks my feet have been pretty sore after my normal 1 hour hitting sessions. Mostly in my arch, but also heel pain.

Any advice on a insoles? Or is this just something i'll have to live with?

Looking to get my wife a last minute mothers day gift after she was complaining about her flat feet and plantar fasciitis flaring up. For context, she works in sales for a distributer and is on her feet a lot. She also runs maybe 3-4 miles 3x a week. The running though has been on hold as her normal runs are in the morning before our kids wake up. Now with the extra morning pain this has been on pause. She wears Nike Pegasus generally, and just uses the insoles that come with the shoes. Are there others that people that recommend? I see Treadlabs is popular, but are they actually good? Can you help me you?!

I picked up running here in NYC about four weeks back and kept running into an issue where both feet would go totally numb around the 4-mile mark. A PT I saw suggested Superfeet, but the pair they pointed me to was built for neutral arches rather than high ones, so I ended up going with Powerstepp instead. Those feel very stiff, and while the arch height does make contact with my arches, I'm not getting any sense of support extending toward the front of my foot. The pressure mostly sits on the rear portion of my arch, near the heel.

Today was my first day trying the Currex RunPro high-arch version. The arch on these doesn't quite reach the top of my arch, and I really only notice the insole at the heel and forefoot, though the cushioning beats what I got from the Pinnacles. I can't tell if these need a break-in period or if my arches are actually taller than what Currex is designed for.

What's the right way to keep hunting for the correct insole? Tread Labs shows up everywhere in running forums and they offer an extra-high arch option too, so are they trustworthy? I've also come across people using heat-moldable insoles. Do those hold up well for running, and are they worth a shot?

I've been running in Superfeet for a while now, and they were fine to start, but the durability isn't keeping up with my volume. I'm burning through pairs faster than feels reasonable, and I'd rather not keep throwing money at the same brand if there's something better out there.

I pretty much have no arch and can't really walk more than a mile before my achilles is starting to flare up. Had custom orthotics as a kid so now looking for some insoles to help me out!

I have a lot of pronation, what do y'all think would be good for my feet?? So many on the market and i'm getting bombarded with ads. Maybe the Dr. Scholl's just cause it's cheap...

Just wondering what is out there that people like?

Been seeing so many on my feed now i'm a bit overwhelmed. I'm guessing the ones with lots of texture on top are preferable, but open to suggestions? Noboso I believe it's called looks good

These were hugely popular stations outside of Trader Joes and Near the water. Why would they get rid of them?

Just got a pair of insoles from the drug store, but they didn't really help my knee pain. Are there options out there that people recommend? Or maybe i'll just go to a podiatrist? I've heard those insoles can get expensive. I don't have a ton of cartilidge, ugh.

Went to the doc this AM and turns out my foot pain is actually heel spurs. Anyone have any good insole recommendations? I was told I could use the extra arch support and heel cup in my shoes. So many options between superfeet and powerstep, etc etc... What actually work for you?
