Back in my elementary days, I was targeted by 2 grade 6 students who were bigger and taller than me. I thought it was a random assault but they know my face and they tend to bully me whenever they get the chance. I got moments where I avoid areas in school where I know grade 6 students lurk.

But one day, I decided enough is enough. One of them kept shoving me while going out of the school gate during lunch time. As I went out, I took a rock and threw it at him but he managed to dodge. Wtf 😅 I ran away as fast as I could. Then, for some reason I couldn't see them anymore. Maybe they stopped going to school or idk. Good for me. I graduated no problems.

In highschool, I transferred after my 1st year. It was my first time in a private catholic school. Because of the bullying I experienced, I went to a tae kwon do summer class prior to my transfer in 2nd year.

I learned nothing much except the small amount of self confidence. If you believe you got nothing to lose, you can face your bully.

As a transfer student, I got bullied right away. I know the familiar feeling. Pushing, shoving, laughing at me and my accent, even vandalizing my notebooks.

I'm like, "yeah that's it." I faced him but bro ran away like a bitch. He returned on the next class (different classroom). We faced off that time and I managed to grab him from the back with a choke hold. Bro tried tapping but that was not MMA or wrestling. It's street rules. Some of our classmates interfered then as I released him, he threatened to ambush me outside the school.

Well, I waited for him outside but bro left and I was standing there like an idiot.

After that, I built some type of reputation in the classroom that I'm no pushover. They didn't bother me anymore. Me and the bully where classmates up until 4th year. And before graduating, we had this small catholic get together and we try to confess our sins and troubles. He confessed he regretted bullying me and asked for forgiveness. Of course I forgave him but at the time, I know what kind of guy he was. Just another kid who wants to have fun and not take things seriously.

Years later, 2023 to be exact. I saw him again. He was working in a grocery store as one of the staff. He seems cool and we chatted for a bit. No signs of bad blood or bad history. Rumor was it that he was a drug user in highschool but right now it seems he's been alright and fighting the good fight to survive.

How do I get rid of this notification?
