Hi,

Looking to tint with 70% transparent for heat protection:

- windshield

- two front windows, left and right side

- back side already has black tint from factory

I have some questions if you guys can help me, every shop that I actually ask, obviously they recommend me the pricier options, but in real word conditions, whats better? XR Plus or XR Elite? Is it only marketing? Does it make a big difference?

I will post 2 pictures, they are in Spanish but you can clearly see the prices.

Even if my back windows are tinted black from factory, do I have to apply some heat protection there as well?

Just bought an XM6, but the pressure point on the top of my head is too much, Sony forced that cushion on a diet...

Any replacement headbands with thicker cushions or accesories?

Hello,

Just got my first ever bluetooth headsets, Airpods Max 2, -_-. Before I only used bluetooth headphones ( Airpods Max 2, Samsung Buds Pro, etc ), and wireless Gaming Headsets.

Comparing the sound quality to 80 euros Corsair HS80 Wireless Gaming Headsets:

  • - Corsair connected to PC via wireless dongle
  • - APM2 connected to Macbook Pro M5 automated bluetooth
  • - APM2 connected to PC, bluetooth
  • - APM2 connected to PC, losless with type-c
  • - APM2 connected to Mac, losless with type-c

Sound results:

  • - they sound very very very similar
  • - APM2 maybe 5% better tops

Is there something wrong with my ears? Shouldn't they sound worlds apart, especially since the Corsairs are 80 euros and the APM2 are 600?

Also can't seem to tell the difference between losless type-c connection and just normal bluetooth connection.

Questions:

  1. Is there any secret menu eq to get better bass?
  2. Any setting to make them sound louder at 50-70% range, they seem quiet and my brain is constantly telling me to increase the volume
  3. Can you make the microphone work with windows when they are connected to type-c?

Why I got APM2:

  • Good deal when I bought them, 380 euros brand new.
  • I got these because I use them mainly in the office, connected to an iPhone, and just manually switch to bluetooth with an windows corportate laptop when on Teams Call
  • I recently acquiered a Mac also, which I plan to use more than my gaming windows pc for everything besides gaming.

I was also looking at:

  • Sony XM6 - heard they are have a cheap feel and that they break easily
  • Bose Quietcomfort Ultra 2 - connection issues?
  • Bowers & Wilkins Px8 S2 - heard you should only use them when chilling in the couch and drinking som expensive whiskey, they don't seem to have other good features like ANC besides good sound quality, also very expensive

Should I return them and get something else?

Any accesories that you guys recommend to protect them?
