Example a person is accused of a crime and witch hunted only for the person to be later found innocent, this could also be due to mistaken identity, someone getting the wrong end of the stick or a deliberate and malicious hate campaign. There are few examples of people being accused of being high profile criminals in hiding despite not being them. Anyone here know of any examples of this?
