i began using a vpn on my phone around a month ago, and now if i switch it off, certain apps such as instagram, whatsapp,facebook etc either don't load or are insanely slow. almost like my phone got used to the VPN and now cannot function without it.

i've also noticed even now when its on, its slower than when i first started using it.

any reason this is happening & advice to fix?
