Greetings, I have a short-term lease in St. Augustine, and although it's a nice enough place, I'm finding it a bit too slow for my tastes. I'm looking for a place with lots of vibrancy, bars, restaurants, music venues, and a beachy vibe. I'm a drummer, so an active band scene is important to me. Has anyone here lived in both St. Augustine and Panama City? I want to be close to the beach, so I'm trying to compare areas like Anastasia Island vs. Panama City Beach or possibly even Destin. Thanks!

Anyone here lived in both St. Augustine and Jacksonville who could compare the two? I want to be close to the beach so I'm thinking of areas like Jax Beach vs. Anastasia Island. On another vote, I was also considering Panama City and Destin. Thanks!
