Gallery Rail Design

Hi! I’m hoping to find some inspo for unique gallery rail designs that work with a tulip cathedral solitaire. My stone is a 2.15 carat elongated cushion with a 1.25 ratio.

I think I prefer a curve pointed up or downwards or an extra petal, but I’d love to see some examples of what others like or went with. I’ve really been drawn to softer, flowy details like curved rails, scallops, integrated petals, and other organic-looking designs.

I’ve included some photos I’ve shared with my vendor so far, but I’m hoping to get more input and ideas. I appreciate you!

Hi,

I’m hoping for a stone check. I don’t have the quote yet, but I think I like this one. I’ve been trying to find a true brilliant elongated cushion and have really struggled to find stones that were not full of a ton of crushed ice. This seems to have some more defined facets than the others I’ve seen. I know OMC is an option, but that is a last resort for me.

Thanks!

Hi! I’m getting so frustrated and am starting to worry I’m going to lose my precious VIB status if I keep returning products!

My skin is starting to show signs of aging, so I’ve been trying to move on from my OneSize powder and find something more lightweight and skin-like. I’ve tried so many regular foundations before I decided I need to go towards something more natural. What I really want is a lightweight, skincare-heavy skin tint or BB cream type product.

I tried the Milk Hydro Grip Skin Tint. I liked how it looked initially but when I put setting or foundation powder on top, it looked awful and started separating. If I use it solo, it’s gone in 2 hours.

I actually like the IT Cosmetics glow version. It was great, but that’s basically foundation.

Most recently, an SA convinced me the Gucci Glow Skin Tint would be perfect because it was 80 something percent skincare. It was the worst skin product I’ve ever used. It separates immediately around my nose and makes every pore and tiny face hair more visible, and just looks bad. I’ve tried different primers and adjusting my skincare and nothing helps. Should a $60 skin tint really need that much effort?

I have combo skin with some visible texture and fine lines, so I need something forgiving. I don’t like anything with shimmer or glitter, but I do want a natural/dewy/radiant finish. I can’t really go the drugstore route because I have no idea how to shade match there. I would absolutely love recommendations for some skin tints that work well and feel natural.

Thank you!
