I have a light wooden floor and by accident i had forgot that the steam iron is still connected and it was on the wooden floor for some time now i have a burned spot, how to remove that? Did anyone experience anything like that? I tried sanding with k180 and k220 but that didn't work

I recently bought my first running shoes which is the asics nb 5 (i already do 5k or 10k runs, my best PR for 5k is 5:20/km but was using a casual runner shoes "puma flyer lite 3"), unfortunately on my left foot i have a problem with my toenail, it's pretty much dead so the nail always grows wrong. So it would be something like this picture in this website:

https://worthingtonfootdocs.com/ailments-treatments/toenail-problems/

The picture next to "Toenail Fungus Symptoms, Signs and Popular Treatments" and this only happened on my left foot because of an accident, now it doesn't hurt or anything but it can't be fixed. I wear other sneakers normally (daily use or gym use), but i noticed in this one is that from the front it's a bit higher than other shoes, so because i have this problem with my toenail it's hitting the the edge of the running shoes from the top.

Would this create a hole long term or even short term because im running? I tried to do filing to the nail to decrease the height and make it smooth (asked chatgpt) but wondering if anyone experienced this lol and what did they do?
