I (F23) have 3 months to find a job in the UK, if I don’t I have to return to my country because my mom says it’s a waste of time if I can’t be successful here. I have a boyfriend (M22) here of 4 years, do I break up with him now to ease the pain if I’m unsuccessful which is likely due to the job market or take a break and see what happens? This is not what we want but honestly we have no choice and life forces us to not be together. I feel horrible that I’ve done this to us knowing that I don’t have citizenship in this country. I don’t know how I’m going to cope. He’s aware of everything as I’ve already told him, I just want to see what everyone else has in mind.

In my interview at the end the hiring manager told me ‘you’re our 10th interview so I have to discuss with the team. if you get accepted you’ll get a call directly from me and if you’re rejected you’ll receive an email, the email is not from us but it’s automated by the system so it has nothing to do with us. if you get that email don’t be disheartened we’ll have more positions open at another location. You’ll know by Monday.’ This makes me think I’m rejected to be honest
