When your profile isn't working, every match feels like your last one. So you overthink every word.
Fixed the profile. Matches tripled. Suddenly hey wasn't even a problem anymore because I had enough matches to stop treating each one like a job interview.

Got my first match in less than 30 minutes. Note: It was a new account so, I obviously got the default spotlight for a certain time.
Profile was well set up with good photos, well written bios and prompts.
Had the age limit set to max. So, the matches ranged between 18-27.
Also, I brought premium the second day since I was only in Delhi for a week. The number of matches soared with premium. Was able to see who’s swiped right to me, unlimited swipes and superswipes. Definitely makes you stand out if you already have a good profile!
But NOTE: I had premium. Here's the thing nobody tells you about Bumble Premium: it's a traffic tool, not a conversion tool. It gets more eyes on your profile. That's it. If your profile isn't converting, if the photos don't build attraction, if the bio doesn't say anything real- more eyes just means more people scrolling past you faster.
