Where have you been all my life? ❤️

I’m talking to you sweet chili sauce. 🥰

I’ve been in a cooking rut — certain dishes come easy, but I needed to break out. I’ve always been challenged by Asian cuisine which seems complicated by a myriad of spices that I don’t understand how to combine.

Another goal is to hit 60 g of protein a day which I have not been doing and I think it’s leaving me fatigued.

Solution: Pan sautéed a pound of chicken tenders. I “cheated” with a drizzle of sweet chili sauce, chopped garlic and a squeeze of lemon. Heated pan with EVOO and butter. Ate it with half a bag of Whole Foods brand Asian chopped salad.

I’ll switch out the vegetables for the rest of those servings. Feel totally satisfied. Handful of semisweet chocolate chips for dessert.

I’m now ready for a commitment…. going to pick up some toasted sesame oil.

From self blame. Personally, I always tried to figure out what was wrong with me that I ended up with men who were creeps and losers. I finally realized it’s because most men are creeps and losers. I wasn’t doing anything wrong after all.

It’s so freeing to arrive at this conclusion. 😄🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

What’s tricky about it is it’s these frozen pouches from Whole Foods. They are meant to be kept frozen and cooked in the pot of boiling water. I’d really like to roast them with the vegetables I got yesterday on a sheet pan. Can you roast frozen shrimp? Should I boil it for half the time and then put it on the sheet? Thanks.
