I have beginner experience in an industry, (less than a year).

I decided to have the audacity to apply to a job that I believe I am not qualified for in aforementioned industry. I didn’t believe I was gonna get the job, I thought fumbled the interview.

and I DIDN’T get the job I applied for BUT they reached out and said they have a similar position they want to bring me on for.

Of course, I said yes...but like I’m SCARED.

Ima do it cause it’s like a 40k increase from what I make now but I’m nervvyyyyy asfffff.

Have you (or anyone you know of) been in a similar situation? How did things turn out?

****I lied about my experience; I said I had more than I do. I lied about my knowledge; I said I had a deeper knowledge of their systems than I do.

I didn’t flat out lie lie though, I have done everything the job requires at some point in time so the info I gave them was moreso embellished.

When does your shop usually eat lunch and do PT? and for how long?

My assumption is that lunch is an unpaid hour and PT is a paid hour.

Given that’s there’s no time for hygiene and the work day is 0630-1700, I imagine PT takes place towards the end of the day.
