Jerger travel alarm clock

Hi! The other day I was in a thrift shop and my eye fell on this beauty. We spent quite some time figuring out what it was and more importantly, does it work?

We wound it up and it seemed like the second pointer was broken but it was slowly moving the bigger pointers so we haggled the price and bought it for 10 bucks.

Turns out it wasnt broken, thats an alarm pointer. The clock is a 2 jewel system or something everyone who sees it falls in love with its ticking its amazing. Feeling good myself listening it as we speak. You need to wind it every day and its a bit hard to set up the allarm but it does function as well and has a loud ass ring.

As you can see its kinda in great condition minus a scratch on the inside of the case. Also it glows in the dark. Which made me realize it was like older, bc of the stories about the radium girls painting the clocks and getting a cancer. You can see the beauty glow in the last pic.

The glass seems to be perfectly intact (something chatgpt told us to make sure of once we mentioned it glows in the dark).

Who has more info about this beauty? When was it made? We are trying to find out but neither of us know shit about clocks. We think its not the first model and jeger made clocks since 1905 so definitietly more recent than that. Should we be concerend about the whole radium paint or is it fine? Is it worth anything? We read somewhere that if they are fully functional (so including the alarm) they are.

Has anyone else ever had one and do you too think the ticking is magical?

So! I have been on my hair journey for 3 years now. At the time the sides of my head were trimmed to less than a cm and now I have well over half a meter of hair :). I want to know what hairbrush to get bc I just cant figure it out. Below is a shitload of context.

Initially I didn't do much at all. Like occasionally I washed it and it grew. Eventually i got a boar bristle brush to bring the oil from the roots to the ends. Soon after I added leave in conditioners and oils and I stopped using shampoo bc I was really struggling with my hair being quite dry.

This worked for a while but it really didn't anymore. I got a friend who loves my hair and found out I don't wash it bc I found the shampoo dries my hair. So they helped me do some research and we picked a very fancy good brand of shampoo + a hair mask + a thermal protection (since i will need to blow dry it a lot if i wash it again). We are considering adding the serum/oil for the ends but we decided to give this a few weeks and see if I still need it after this + maybe even a cut (it hasnt been cut in well over 2 years so obviously the ends are simply damaged.

I now use a wide tooth comb and a regular oval paddle brush for brushing + the boar bristle one to spread the oils (but my hair is to dense to detangle it) but I really just dont like any of the paddle brushes I ever had. They are by far the most efficient way to brush my hair but every single one seems to do so much damage. What is it that i should be paying attention too?
