Food on Eurostar plus

Food on Eurostar plus

the last time I ate on Eurostar the food left much to desired and I’ve been scathing of it ever since. Yesterday I needed to get home quickly and the only way to get on this train was to upgrade to plus . it is only fair I now put the record straight. This was lunch time, so I cannot comment on evening or breakfast options.

i took the non veggie option of paprika chicken which was served cold, it was totally fine and quite tasty. As mentioned elsewhere, there was no desert. Drink options were wine, water, tea & coffee, served by a very cheerful lady.

think of it as a light lunch and you won’t be too far off. It has improved IMO

£10.99 unlimited, Travelodge Wimbledon

It’s difficult to argue with that price. However, even a double teabag of twinings doesn’t mask that the tea is absolute shite.

now that I have eaten half of it, the sausages are so average, they look way better than they taste.

update: this was poor. 6/10, of which 1 point was for the price. I have two further bookings here, I will not be taking the breakfast.
