Yesterday my gf told me she met a random guy while she went on a hike. She saw this random guy out on her walk and asked him if he wanted to go on an adventure. Apparently afterwards she got his number because he has no family around and she felt bad for him? Apparently she told him she had a boyfriend and didn’t want to make it weird. Fun part is she had also been day drinking a bit, which also makes me uncomfortable.

When I had a talk with her about it tonight and said I didn’t like that and it feels weird and made me uncomfortable. She proceeded to get defensive and say I make her feel like she isn’t allowed to have friends or be social.. she is a social person and she hates that I am making her feel bad like she planned to cheat or something. I brought up if the roles were reversed I’d be on the streets tonight. We have worked together in a restaurant in the past and she has gotten very angry at me for just talking to the female coworkers and making jokes with them etc. when we all work together and she was right there.

Idk just feels like double standards to me but am I being out of pocket for being upset?

Ok this one is fun! I (33 M) was already upset with my gf (31 F) this evening because of her drinking.. we have been together 4 and 1/2 years and in that time she has had very unhealthy drinking habits. She might not drink EVERYDAY, but it’s at least 3 times a week since we have been together. When she drinks she won’t stop.. will literally drive to a bar at 1:20 am so she can get one more shot of alcohol. Couple of weeks ago she texted me she was going out with a co worker for a beer. I woke up at 5 am and she wasn’t home, no text or calls from her. I tried calling her and was getting crickets so I went out to her bar to see if I could find her car. While on the way over there I got a call from a random number. She wasn’t crying asking me to pick her up from said bar parking lot. Apparently she left the bar angrily at around 1:40 am. She had poured her drink out on the bartenders bf, got in a yelling match with a couple other people in the bar. Threw a wad of cash at the bartender, and stormed out of the bar. She left her phone, keys, and wallet in the bathroom so she slept in her car. This story is real and was co overrated by her boss and coworkers. The last few nights she has been drinking non stop again. Lastnight she dragged me out and stayed out until 2 am again, and then went to her friends house to drink more..

I woke up this morning and went to work feeling like we needed to have a serious talk about her drinking. When I got off I called her to let her know I was on the way and would you believe it? She wasn’t crying asking drunk, and had been day drinking all day. During this call she tells me she went to a hiking spot she really likes with out dog. She said she met some random guy out there and asked if he “wanted to go on an adventure” she told him “it isn’t weird or anything she is in a relationship, she just wanted to walk with someone” apparently she also got this guys number afterward because he has an atv and said “her and her bf would want to ride it sometime”.. I was shaking with anger and just told her we aren’t speaking tonight, I need space, I don’t want to talk to her or be around her when she is drunk and that this situation makes me very uncomfortable. When I got home I just went to the other room and have avoided her all night.. idk this is just insane to me at this point.. the drinking, and I just don’t see how even if it’s innocent fun to meet a random guy alone hiking she should get his number to ride his atv?
