Weird encounter 5/12/26

Angel on doorstep maybe.. idk but here's the context:

So yesterday I was in a very stressful situation and everything had been going wrong. This whole month has been filled with stress, so I've been reading my Bible more and praying. Plus I had an important meeting yesterday.

Well I get home and I shower. So an hour later, this dude appears on my doorstep. He looked really youthful and has this bright glow. He was trying to promote this ring camera service, which is ironic since I already have a ring camera. So my mom was talking through the camera and told me to close the door. With ring cameras u can talk through the phone, even if your not near the house.

I was being nice to the dude because even though he is a stranger, he deserves kindness. The dude goes "it is ok and have a blessed day." He then gave me a thumbs up and smiled at me. I felt very peaceful like that stress had been lifted off my shoulders. Also he didn't have a car or anything. It's like he appeared out of thin air and then disappeared.

I normally do not open the door for strangers but I didn't care and felt like this was important. Well for starters the ring camera did not go off.. but the doorbell did. I could not find this dude on the ring camera at all after he disappeared?? It was like he was there to deliver a message or something??

Anyways. Thx for listening. I'm still shocked over what happened. And I keep searching through the ring camera but it's unexplainable.

Marines part time or college?

So, I need help making a decision. I was recently approached by a marine recruiter and I am considering joining the marines part time through reserves. However, I'm suppose to go to college in 2 months for Forensic Science.

Me and my parents do not have a good relationship, and my mom is constantly threatening to kick me out, and etc. Also graduation is this week. If I did join the Marines part time then it would help with college pay and stuff. My mom does not want me to join, but my recruiter said it's my choice since I am 18. It would also, get me away from my controlling family, and I could still do Forensic Science. The recruiter even tried to talk to my mom on phone call, and she hung up on him and sent me a rude message.

The only problem is, my mom will not give me my social security card, or my birth certificate. So, I would need a way to get copies of those. The recruiter also told me there will be a time in life where I will have to make my own decisions. Also my mom takes money out of my checks and will not give me my bank card.

Advice needed thank you. Located in the United States for context. Also I am an only child. I am an 18 year old black female.

Which flavor should I try? The coke cola one looks good. And they have French vanilla. I have never had this brand before but it all looks delicious 😋

Hi yall. I am new to reddit, so I am sorry if I do not structure everything correctly.

Can yall recommend some bible verses or chapters for a young female who just turned 18 last week, and is trying to overcome feeling alone or like an outcast.

Thank you for the support 🙏 💜
