a girl-friend and I went on a play date with our kiddos and we were catching up, she asked me if my ex and I were still together and I said “no, but we are working on it” I didn’t go into much details but told her “we’re in two different spaces right now.”
My ex and we’re best of friends but romantically we have our issues.
He asked me how the play date went and the question arises of “did you tell her that you’re single?” And I said yes, and reiterated to him what I said to her up there^^*
He got upset and told me that I should have said that “ we’re good” and if I would have said that it would have not been the truth. Im not the one to tell my personal business but I’m also not going to flat out lie like he wants me to?. I didn’t find what I said to be malicious but he thinks otherwise and it’s making me question if I did something wrong. So here I am here.
