Enna da panni vechirukeenga.

Firstly, the good thing that have come out of Vijay’s campaign is that parties might finally stop bribing voters because it clearly didn’t work this time. Meme language le sollanum na "Absolute chad", people received money from both the D parties and voted TVK.

Optimistic points (though I’m still doubtful):

  • Zero political experience. Could mean fresh approach.

  • Optimistic that he won’t be corrupt. He doesn't need money tbh.

  • Vijay in his previous profession has been extremely professional and punctual. He was consistent as an actor. Hope he does the same as the chief minister.

  • Some ministers like Arun Raj and Keerthana looks promising.

Real worries:

  • Bussy Anand.

  • Aadav Arjuna and lottery mafia.

  • Most of these MLAs know they won purely on Vijay’s wave with zero groundwork. I expect them to treat this as a 5-year lifetime settlement scheme.

  • Heavy dependence on Route PR - feels like his entire time in politics will just be a scripted PR show with managed narratives.

  • More freebies incoming, which will kill funds for actual development.

  • Prandur Airport? We need that badly

  • Vijay fans. Vijay know that his fans will justify him no matter what. Who's gonna oppose him?

I'll be happy if I'm proven wrong and Vijay delivers 5 years of solid governance.

Hey everyone,

I’ve managed to get the same on-road price for Maruti Fronx and Toyota Taisor

Since they’re basically the same car, my decision comes down to after-sales + warranty:

Maruti: 2 yrs / 40k km

Toyota: 3 yrs / 100k km

My queries :

  1. Is Toyota’s service experience and warranty claims actually better enough to choose it over Maruti?

  2. What exactly does the warranty cover?

  3. How is the Toyota service experience compared to Maruthi suzuki?

  4. Which one would you pick at the same price?

Thanks!

Hey everyone,

So I booked Fronx last week and the delivery is 6weeks away. I’ve got a quote for taisor and I’m a bit confused. Also the taisor is readily available and I'm thinking of flipping.

Pricing On-road:

- Toyota Taisor S+ AMT (2026): ₹10.70L (after ₹50k discount)

- Maruti Fronx Delta+ AGS : ₹10.15L

From what I understand, both cars are basically the same, just rebadged with minor design changes.

My questions:

  1. Is ₹50–55k premium for Taisor justified?

  2. Can I realistically negotiate more on taisor? Do they match the fronx price?

  3. How is the resale value of Toyota compared to Maruthi?

  4. Which one would you pick and why?

  5. Is Toyota service cost significantly more than Maruthi's?

Would love to hear from recent buyers / owners.
